Hu6280 Alpha 0.8 Released!

Vobbo in the next release would it be possible to have the GPE in /mnt/sd/PCengine and the ROMS in /mnt/sd/PCengine/roms? That would be cool. This way everything could be in a dir of "PCEngine".
Config file, config file, config file!!! (since I personally don't like Dave's idea)

Me neither.

My emulators are all in:

/mnt/sd/Emulators/hu6280.gpe
/mnt/sd/Emulators/DrMD/drmdxv5b1.gpe

and the likes.

Agree, its best to be able to put the roms anywhere, not everyone is DaveC (as DaveC sometimes seems to think).

I heartly endorse this service or product (or suggestion in this case).

My emulators all go in /mnt/sd/emulators/
and with some roms going in /mnt/sd/roms/
and some going in their repsective dir under emulators/
dave's idea would only make it worse.

Config file ftw

why is everybody alway bashing DaveC??? Oh well *bashes DaveC*...

Sounds like a promising emulator but I think I will wait till it has sound support before trying it...

I'd personally like to see savestates before ISO, but it's not my project. I look forward to sound and 60FPS FS0. PCE is tied with SNES as my favorite system(s) of all time.

Personally, I put save states way higher in priority than ISO-support. It's nice to *not* be required to start from the beginning after each five minute bus trip...

Yes, save states would be very nice. Also what kind of speeds are people getting? I still have to clock up to 266 to get full speed in some games. Noteably Soldier Blade and Super Star Soldier and Air Zonk. Most of the other games are full speed at 200 and 233mhz. Things are still looking really damn good on this emu. I'm just wondering how much sound is going to slow emulation down. Either way this emulator is kicking major ass. Keep up the amazingly fast work!

I`ll add a .ini file and savestates after a little more optimizing! keep your eyes peeled!

Vobbo

I still think you should get it full speed with sound before you bother with luxuries. Focus on getting it done before making it 'luxurious'. I mean it just seems like common sense to get the job done before you polish it!

Hi all,

My rom dir is ok. I can see the list of roms. After selecting start game in option screen my GP2X freeze or goes blank. Internal rom works ok. What is the problem about it? I'm too lazy now to connect GP2X with serial to identify the problem.

You can't use Zipped roms. SImple as that.
They are not zipped. Still not working. Anything else?

Edit: It works fine now. The problem was about my roms.
