How os friendly is the pyra?


Yes. I'd love to see this being available on the Pyra. We just lack manpower to work on http://projects.goldelico.com/p/gta04-replicant/

So, I started looking into the state of ARM virtualization. Just search and reading.

This is interesting - looking at using KVM to install an ARM Ubuntu Linux guest OS on an ARM Ubuntu Linux host using a Cortex A-15:

So - the question is - does the combination of these two exercises put us closer to having an Android Jellybean guest OS on an ARM Debian Linux host using a Cortex A-15? I.e. Android VM on Pyra?

I think that running Android in a VM environment on the A-15 is the way to go for a lot of what I would want Android for. Even if that precluded 3D from working and restricted to the Android 4 based version of Replicant.
 
Yeah, but then you get into a fight with the package manager (on Linux at least, dunno about Android). I ran a Fedora install on a machine with NVidia graphics, and I had to run through the binary blob installer every time the kernel updated.
