How Do I Tell If My Headphone Jack Is At Risk

I recently read the *horror* story of a headphone jack falling into someone's 2x and wondered...how can i tell if that might happen to mine. The way i am thinking is by gently placing my fingers on the thumbstick, L+R buttons, and ABXY buttons, then shaking the gp2x. If i dont hear rattling does that mean mine isnt "at risk"?

Thanks

If you hear rattling, then you're beyond "risk" ... the jack has fallen off the board.

Anyone with knowledge of electronics should be able to look at it for you if you take it apart. Mine was done well.

Does your have more solder on it? What makes it better?

I just want to know so i can check mine when it comes.

if youw ant to be sure that it will never brake open it and put some hotglue on/arround the socket, just in case.
or drill a hole in your gp2x and fill it with epoxite^^
