Anyone gotten any lynx roms to run with this emulator. I haven't had any success but I'm not sure my lynx roms are legit.

I am kind of curious too. I wonder if it even has sound.

I know the one on the GP32 by Tuskenraider is almost full speed with sound.

I have not been able to get any games to run on this.

I took a look at the file selector config it uses to make sure everything was correct and when this failed I created a script to launch one game and that failed too. If anyone has gotten this to work, please let me know.

I've tried putting the Lyxn boot img in the folder, tried unziping both it and roms, nothing works, I keep getting kicked back to the menu screen, I have to assume either it dosent work in the version released or it's a hoax.

I tried and it worked :) .

Put the binaries, lynxboot and the roms in the folder \handy on the rootdir of the sdcard. Start the handylauncher. Choose the rom with the selector and you're in.

Having a wrong directory or a wrong lynxboot image will kick you back to the standard gp2x menu.

The screen is very small though  .

Google for Lynx Boot Image, and you'll find it.

Jarska333 is correct its a bios 512kb in size. Put this in your handy directory, and it should work fine.

I agree with airjohn the screen is very small, hopefully scaling will make it look better in a future release.

After I put the Lynx Boot image in the /handy directory it worked fine apart from the screen being too small of course.

I think a better question is, is the screen to small to even play the damn thing? Sound isn't that important in the beginning, especially if you need bi-focals to see your games! LOL :p

the authors project page is updated and the screen size is now fullscreen (version 01a).
but i still can't hear sound although he was talking about sound...
maybe it's just in progress or so.

and opt1 and opt2 is mapped to volume + and -, so i'm not sure, how you can control the volume.

Great emulator. Thank you Tharos. Sound would complete the Lynx experience.
