Gp32linux And Opie :) [pda]

Well, I patched the kernel to get SquashFS support and as I expect, the input-key-events sent are working on opie :D ... except special keys as enter, shift, tab...

I'll continue working on it after weekend, I have to prepare my last exam

good news distwave, can you conatact toholl on sourceforge
so we add u to the developpers list, so you can upload on the cvs ?

--------------
thanks for your efforts excess
i didnt have time to test openzaurus packages
it s the same thing for the familiar [ipaq] packages
but you have to change some libs [ libc and co i think ] otherwise you get a "kernel too old error message"

------------
a sound driver is aviable now on the cvs, have to test it
toholl played a wave thanks to it
------
we have trouble making the mouse work with kdrive / tinyx
dont know why , strange

===========
excess , keep us informed of what applications you ( or someone on elotrolado.net ) try ;)
it s good to see people trying stuff
========
update, i integrated excess gp32linux logo in my kernel, thanks excess :)

i think it would be better to compile it with the gp32 sdl port for now ....

but you can try with zaurus binaries
[ even if it take time to load, it should be fast after that , if it doesnt use too much memory ]
you will have to add the sdl libs somewhere and add the path for the sdl
libs

some updates
-------------------
WARNING !!!! to all the people who downloaded some of my releases
please update your initrd !!! with this new one
http://gp32linux.gp32news.com/micro/
[ otherwise, possible data loss !!! ]

----------
you will also find there a new kernel [ with new logo ]
there is also a new start and a directory x , that shows a new fast gui
but i think you will need also the files from my links.rar release

i dont have time to work on it right now
but hope that someone will work on it
otherwise you will have to wait until september ...

What do I have to change in the Start File? When I start my Linux it stops at "Opening Chatboard discipline". P.S. I loaded EVERYTHING Out of the Folder "x"

You need the files in http://www.gp32linux.com/linux/links.rar

Overwrite with the duplicate files in http://gp32linux.gp32news.com/micro/

Copy the entire x subdirectory into the linux directory of the smc.

For edit the start file don't use the wordpad. Use the notepad or winvi.

There is no ampersand "&" after the last app you want to execute:
./nano-X & ./nanowm & ./nxkbd & ./ntetris & ./nxview tux.gif

suerte n_n
