u have to rename initrd.nochat or initrd.chat [ if u have a chatboard]
to initrd
to initrd
Hmm, I already said that on page 12, maybe we should edit the first post with it. Ingeras? Anyway, it's because wordpad changes the Unix endline character with a DOS one. Effect? Linux reads the entire file as one line, it doesn't 'see' the end of the line. Solution? Either keep using notepad, which doesn't change the line termination, or find a text file editor which has the option to set the line termination character to a Unix one.duquehernani posted on Jul 2 2004 at 04:51 PM said:i had that problem too.Sonic-NKT posted on Jul 2 2004 at 03:53 PM said:when i edit the start file, to make it launch other files it says while booting that the start file ist missing
after editing the start file with wordpad, init cant find it. it is broken somehow.
hint: dload it again and edit it with notepad.

This bootloader in /GPMM/
All the other files in /GPMM/linux
You must rename one of the two initrd files. If you have not the chatboard your file is initrd.nochat. Rename to initrd (no extension).
