I've used one of those on a palm before, they would be perfect for the gp2x,

Cool, but no good idea the conexion type since the TV will be connected to the EXT port... better idea would be to connect it to a USB concentrator connected this to the GP2X USB port.

Bluetooth version will be conneted via SDIO or what?

Who knows, they could make it a pass-through connector so you can still enjoy TV out.

Sounds promising, it would be so awesome if we can have multi-player through bluetooth or similar too.

That's not possible as the GP2X is a USB client not a host... or the new device could be a host, but then the GP2X registers on USB as a MASS STORAGE DEVICE. So, I guess it's more likely that it will connect to the RS232 interface.

I mean USB Hub with autopowered ports.

A hub is not a host. Also you would still have the MASS STORAGE DEVICE problem, so I think it is very very unlikely.

looks awesome, but it also looks kind of expensive.
im more intrested in the bluetooth upgrade, then we can in theory do networking and can connect several other devices.

Does anyone think, that a docking station for GP2X might be usefull? A stand with two USB connectors, a connector for the tv-out cable, maybe something else. Powered, and connected to 2X with the EXT...

How fast is the EXT-port, anyway? :p

id definetly be interested in buying any acessory for my lovely gp2x :) (dont have it yet though hehe)

edit: crap meant to edit not new post

Pretty damn expensive... When will the chatboard be ready? :D
What about software support, how will that work? Will there be a keyboard standard?

Looks really nifty! expect to pay as much for that as for the gp2x though. Here is the manufacturer's page, where you can get a lot more info, including MSRP ($199). Add parts and labour, and we're looking at around $225-$250 for the gp2x version. Mind you, if you can afford it, it looks way cool and it's a lot more portable than any other handheld keyboard I can think of.

[Edit]
Hey Nigel, I just had an awesome idea - how about building that gizmo into a stand for the gp2x? something like this:

It would also be nice if the projector could connect to the stand so it's one item to lug around instead of two pieces for this addon.

And then also it being folding so it's smaller to carry :)
