It's been a while since I played my GP2X, mainly because the joystick cap kept coming loose and spinning round on the shaft (Sometimes so that you could not move left for example).
Well, I finally got a new cap from Play Asia recently, but i've noticed that the joystick click button (When you press the stick down, like you get on the analogue PS2/Xbox sticks) isn't working any longer. You press the cap and there is no click, but occasionally the button mapped to it still registers. Annoyingly though, if I move in some directions the click button is sometimes induced and this interferes with certain emulators as a result.
Is there a simple fix to the problem? Or is it completely knackered?
