Well, I have been some days without updating my web to dedicate my free time to the Lady Killer, but I think it has been a good idea.

lady2.jpg

In this version the almost all new features are "aesthetic", but that let me have the engine almost finished so I think I could add new enemies and girls from now.

The new features are:
- Implemented text engine.
- Added final stage's points screen.
- Added option to continue when you have lost all your lives.
- Game limited to 3 lives and 1 "continue".
- Added "READY" and "GO!" messages.
- Added phase complete animations.
- Added splash water animation.
- Improved enemies death animations.
- Improved colision's detection.
- Fixed bug that don't let you die when time finished.
- Reduced time that you can be submerged (now it counts seconds).
- Source code reestructurated and rewritten (decreased file size from about 600 KBs to 350 KBs).
- Fixed minor bugs.

You can download it from my website: GP32WIP

Regards

Really cool!

Love those perverted hentai games :D

Hehe, I like to play (when I am alone) "Gals Panic" on MAME. I love it, but I also have a bad feeling... :D

Oooh, thank you for the tip. I have to update my MAME to at least 0.74 (running 0.64). The screenshot is looking promising. :rolleyes:

Ok, I just played 0.1.1 (replaced 0.1.0 which was on my SMC since I have a GP32). I get on
the right side a flickering, when I dive and turnabout tiles:
ASCII Screen: F=Flicker N=NoFlicker
******************
* NNNNNNNNNN F F *
* NNNNNNNNNN F F *
* NNNNNNNNNN F F *
* NNNNNNNNNN F F *
******************

This is on GP32 BLU+ with fresh batteries. Background picture is not affected. It is only on the playing field. It keeps flickering till the "It`s hot inside this suit." screen appears again. The flickering looks like fast replacing the water tile with the picture tile and vice versa.
Hope this description is understandably.

Great software, great grafics. Thank you for your work.

I knew about that "bug" but as only happens in blu+ and I don't have one I haven't been able to fix it. Could you help me with it (sending you new versions to try or giving me some information), please?

I think I understand your description, only one thing, the frame with points, time... is not affected by the problem, is it?

By the way, that problem was in version 0.1.0 too, wasn't it?

Thanks a lot

It would be a pleasure for me to help, because I like the game a lot. The last two digits of time and the "live icons" are flickering, but this is hardly to see. Version 0.1.0 is affected in the same way.

Could you detail me if the problem happens when you start the phase or the exact moment when it happens (how many tiles are rolled over, what of them aren't rolled over...).

Thanks again

After toughly playing:
The flickering starts just in the moment, when a tile in the last 3 right rows is turned about.
****************
* NNNNNNNNNHFF *
* NNNNNNNNNHFF *
* NNNNNNNNNHFF *
* NNNNNNNNNHFF *
****************
H means, that only the half tile is flickering, F full tile flickering. Only the rolled over tiles are affected. For example:
I start in the upper left -> change tile -> no flicker -> change a tile last 3 right rows -> flicker in changed tiles on the right.
I start in the last 3 right rows -> change tile -> the change tile flicker

Please, try to change all tiles marked with N and note if there is any problem. If there aren't problems change one of the rest (marked with H or F). I supposed that in that moment will start the problem, but I want to know if you can change all N tiles and don't have problems.

After that I will start to look the code and try to do a test version that can fix it.

Thanks

It is nearly impossible to change only the N tiles :), because the special items, which turn a whole row. But the flickering appears only, when a H or F tile is turned about (the tile is no water tile anymore).
Happy coding. Btw. are there any reports from other BLU+ owner with this problem?
