golden axe myth

It's an open beats of rage mod, it should work already. I'm going to try it now.

edit: It's an .spk file so openbor won't run it

Hmm... would it be a case of changing the OpenBor file that comes with the Golden Axe Myth zip, seeing as it runs durectly from that? So you'd adapt the .exe into a gpe/pnd and run the whole thing as a whole (rather than an extention of the original OpenBor pnd we have)?

EDIT:

Okay, did a bit of digging - there was an OpenBor V3.0 released for PSP with SPK support (didnt support PAK), so that would be what we need. Some sort of conversion of a more recent OpenBor (3.0 or higher) would do the trick and should run this fine.

Now we just need someone to PND OpenBor V3.0 (or at least at SPK support to the current build)...

New reply for new info...

I've nearly got it working :) Via GINGE, but it's a start.

I downloaded OpenBOR v. 3.0 Build 2802 from here: http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/wiz.cgi?0,0,0,0,20,382. - see below for a new link

Dumped the entire folder on to my SD card, and put the Golden Axe Myth spk into the Pak folder and ran GINGE. It gets me up to the "Winners dont sell this game" screen, then it boots me back to the GINGE menu. I believe it can be done and even run natively on Pandora, it just needs someone who's familiar with all the backend to sort it...

EDIT:

More progress - have it running now, albeit without knowing any controls to start it. Dont bother with the link above, instead use this one:

Unpack the GP2X version of OpenBOR (the Wiz version wont work) and put that on to your SD card. So far it runs a tad slow, and I'm still figuring out the controls/if overclocking helps much, but it's running at least. Which means someone should be able to get it sorted properly on Pandora, as this version of OpenBOR is open as far as I know.

Nice work, dude. There was a couple of spk mods that I wanted to try

Let me know how you get on :)

Sadly, not been able to get the game payable, no button responds to start it. I've even tried refining the keys on my PC and importing the save files and logs to my Pandora, but no joy. We'll have to get a specialist involved ;)
