Picked up Master of Magic, Albion, and Elder Scrolls: Battlespire, which comes with Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall, for $1.49 each. Along with the earlier two games I purchased, that puts me at almost $6, and gives me a code for Sunless Sea that I can't use since I already had it through an earlier GOG Connect.

Any takers for Sunless Sea on GOG?

That reminds me, I have a couple of Steam keys on Fanatical that I should dig up and offer in the Steam thread...

Ziggurat is free right now on the GOG front page.

I still have that Sunless Sea code, BTW.

ah dammit... could've gotten ziggurat for free without using up a steam code if I only waited a few months. Someone on this board was so generous as to donate a spare steam key to me. Grabbed it anyway, so thanks for the heads up!

Is that Sunless Sea key still available? I saw the promo but I didn't want to buy anything at the moment. Reviews I read where mixed but I kinda liked the feel of this game. Thanks anyway.

They're missing bleep from their drm free music list as far as I know.

Could be a sneaky way of getting the monopoly on DRM-free gaming.
They are not the only store having that, there's also itch.io, Zoom and the Humble Store still marks DRM-free things with a stamp at least.
I wonder whether any of those will appear on the list.

My guess is if it allows DRM stuff it can't be on there, even if some or most of their stuff is DRM free. Does itch.io and/or Zoom allow games with DRM?

Nope, itch.io and Zoom are "pure".

    I just did.
Now we'll have to wait whether they will add competitors to the list although those aren't really competitors since the catalogue is mostly different.

BTW: I just noticed that while GOG removed TrickStyle a while ago, Zoom has it now with Mac and Linux ports that didn't exist before.

I disagree with their definition of DRM. DRM has existed for 40+ years; "enter word X on page Y" is literally just as much DRM as requiring an active internet connection. By narrowing the definition they can claim to be DRM free when in fact they do have several games that digitally restrict (or manage your rights, however you want to use that R) to play, it's just trivial to bypass. Being trivial to bypass does not mean it doesn't exist.
It's like how people have conflated GMOs strictly with gene injection and forget that we've been genetically modifying crops for millenia. "GMO Free!" the packaging proclaims on the seedless grapes; it's a ridiculous marketing scare.

I'm hearing that GOG will be having a Back to School sale starting at 1 PM UTC today, or in less than an hour from this post. Will have flash sales and some new GOG Connect games too. Get your money ready.
