Don't you think they would have investigated it before putting it on national tv?TelcoLou posted on Aug 30 2006 at 04:16 PM said:daclassicgamingmaster posted on Aug 30 2006 at 05:00 PM said:because it was on court tvAlex. posted on Aug 30 2006 at 04:48 PM said:How come nobody mentioned the possibility that said video is homebrewed?

... or perhaps it's just not that amazing a feat ... here's a story:
When I was a toddler, my parental units couldn't figure out how I managed to climb out of my playpen; I was clearly too small to climb over the top, yet every day I escaped, getting into trouble somewhere else.
The 'trick' was that the sides were made of a flexible mesh material; I used to lay down and kick at the very bottom, splitting it along the seam. After awhile, I made a gap large enough to roll under and out ... the material, being elastic-like, snapped back into position, making it appear intact and un-tampered with.
It took them weeks to figure it out
Same principal with the 'ghost car'; the car's speed and angle caused it to exert pressure on the bottom half of the fence first, popping the retaining wires holding it on the sides, creating a large chain link skirt ... which it 'skirted' under ... then it flopped back in place, bewildering the cops, and ending the chase.

When did I say it was magic? :huh:TelcoLou posted on Aug 30 2006 at 04:39 PM said:Yes.
But really, you've convinced me. It's magic.
I'm off to church now, to pray for all mankind's sins. Wish me luck.

A great example of human cognitative ability. I hope that the experiments with giving mice 100% human brains does aid the mice with more human like cognitative abilities. If it does I want a mouse that is smart enough to make a language. It can translate dolphin for me!TelcoLou posted on Aug 30 2006 at 10:16 PM said:daclassicgamingmaster posted on Aug 30 2006 at 05:00 PM said:because it was on court tvAlex. posted on Aug 30 2006 at 04:48 PM said:How come nobody mentioned the possibility that said video is homebrewed?
