I thought the same thing. The whole point in an open source community is to work together. Not to make fun of somebody with less knowledge than yourself. I've been reading these forums for a few years and this has always been the case, especially more so since the gp2x came about. Honestly.. the first time you visit a forum, do you make a post to introduce yourself and ask any questions you have on your mind, or do you go to the search feature? My guess is the first one. I know it's annoying to see all of these posts, but we will always see this because the 'newbs' haven't been here before, so they have no clue as to how many people have asked this before. It would be one thing if someone was here for decades and saw all of these 'HIT THE DAMN SEARCH BUTTON' responses and then still do it, but this is a completely different person who has never seen the forums before in his/her life. So it frustrates me as well, but I understand. So I ask of the gp2x community, from now on when ever you see these posts, allow the first person to point them to the search feature and the wiki and then be done with it.
Now as for the GBA, why does a machine have to be retro in order for it to be considered for emulation? That makes no sense, everyone has different intentions for the use of emulation, not just to get a nostalgic feeling. I for one would love to have GBA emulation just because I want to be able to play all of my favorite systems on one machine. So the moral of today's story, is that everyone is different, not everyone likes the same things you do or knows the same things you do.. so adjust! Don't try to taunt or put someone down just because they are not like yourself. Thank you.
