I'm sure the GBA includes the GBC Z80 CPU, as well as sound hardware.
Nah, it has the hardware on board to run the games natively.BaDToaD posted on Mar 19 2004 at 01:57 PM said:I would guess that the GBA has GB and GBC emulation built in. Yes, it basically just has a GB in it. They only share the sound hardware (the GBA has a couple of digital sound channels extra), and the screen. I guess the screen is why GB mode might be a bit iffy... its a different resolution, so some sort of scaling has to go on.Dozer posted on Mar 19 2004 at 02:06 PM said:Nah, it has the hardware on board to run the games natively.BaDToaD posted on Mar 19 2004 at 01:57 PM said:I would guess that the GBA has GB and GBC emulation built in.
thanks dude it had to be done :lol:Rico posted on Mar 22 2004 at 09:55 AM said:Yeah, the fact is, nobody's going to talk about VBA32 (for GBA) or ShiteGBA when this is developing. So I'll agree with kotd and do the switch.
