I always run my Pandora with a 2Gb swap file, so I'm not sure which is better in terms of memory usage. FF4b10 seems snappier than FF3, especially when closing it. In terms of fit on the Pandora, they're much of a muchness. I guess it'll depend on getting WebGL in FF4 which will make it better. Although someone reported it was working in one of the earlier beta builds I did...skeezix said:Given Firefox 3 and 4 that you've ported .. which is the best fit? (ie: is one faster or generalyl a better fit on pandora?)
I'm using FF3 on desktop but 4 is pushign a lot for faster JS and faster response time, so I wonder if FF4 feels better on pandora.. or does it kill all our ram, more than FF3 does?
(Sorry, not much time to fiddle with things, I'm nearly maxed out; just hoping to drop one on the SD and someday use it

If you select 240p from the drop down box on YouTube it runs fine. Things should improve once we get the DSP bridge running.Unfathomable Depths said:Erm. This has working Flash 10.
Just tried MiniClip and played some PingPong game. Bit slow at 600 but worked.
Flash reports as v 10.1.105.6
Off to try some vids now...
*edit* Well I just listened to some BBC iPlayer radio. Overclocked to 800. It stuttered for about a min then played flawlessly.
*edit2* iPlayer video works but is basically a slide show. I´ve never had more than 300kb/s on the Pandora so that´s probably the problem there. YouTube wouldn´t load. I´m going to try a reset.
*edit3* Reset worked and YouTube loaded. Again plays like a slide show when streaming but if you let the vid load completely audio plays fine but it´s still a slide show. Overclocked to 800.
Played a few flash games and they all ran Congrats on this hdonk and thanks. Great work
Meh, I applied for access to the flash plugin from TI, but they never accepted my request, so I'm not bound by the no-redistribution agreement. Instead I obtained the plugin from Maemo, which is coincidentally the same one. So what are they going to do? Adobe give Flash away for most other platforms anyway... It's the old adage about it being better having someone in the tent pissing out rather than out pissing inmcobit said:Is it good to release this software with the Preview flashplayerplugin?
