You know, when even Sony doesn't care about E3, it's hard to get my hype up. Even my Switch doesn't have me that hyped, since I need a new left controller for it. :(

EA already had a conference, there are conferences from other companies today and tomorrow, and Nintendo will have a Direct stream on Tuesday. So, yeah, brace yourselves.

I should note that we'll probably see a new Xbox at 1 PM Pacific time today.

It's next gen, y'all. Let's find our hype already.

You reckon they'll announce the Switch Mini so that when your left thumbstick breaks, the whole unit is effectively bricked?

"N" has already stated they won't be showing any new hardware revisions at E3, but that doesn't mean they won't announce one before and or after, as they've done that shit in the past more than once. LOL

^ Wouldn't that apply to every handheld with a left and right analogue stick or nub or circle pad?
Only ones with a history (albeit with a sample size of 1 in this community) of broken joysticks. I've got analogue sticks from Nintendo consoles from the N64 to the 3DS in my house, and while my original N64 pad got a little crusty after a few years of use it showed no signs of actually breaking.

@EvilDragon will you be showing off the Pyra at E3 or CES when it's done? It might help get more customers if you can show what it can do at such a prolific event.

I've got two N64 controllers where the stick is so wobbly as to be virtually unusable. My wife's 3DS, the analog stick is also in very bad shape. In defense of the 3DS, however, my wife did stick a dime under it for extended periods of time in order to get the character to just run around in a circle for hours in order to hatch eggs, so that may have played a part.
But that's two more sample points for your science, at least.

I watched Microsoft's conference earlier, and um, it was all right. I was expecting more details about their next gen console, but that's my fault. I mean, we did get some details. Specs, holiday 2020 release window, launches with Halo. I guess they're saving all the other next gen game announcements for next year.

Bethesda had a conference too, ya know. Commander Keen is back, baby! ...As a free to play mobile game. If they hadn't pulled him out of his grave, he would be spinning in it. :p

Xbox's twitter account tweeted a pic with E3 events that Xbox fans should look forward to, and the E3 Nintendo Direct tomorrow was one of them.

It might not mean anything, but it is making me go "Hmmmmmmmm..."

Bold prediction for Animal Crossing, based on fake leaks and my imagination: Crafting will be expanded beyond just furniture, and will become a central part of the game. In fact, you'll pretty much be building the entire town from scratch.

Sorry, it's just the only way I can think of that they can top the mayor feature in New Leaf.
