Dvd Player Plays Nes Roms

Hmm crappy. Nice DVD player though. If you really need to watch DVDs on the go. But the nes support could be shitty, if it is a system on a chip. It will not come close to the real thing or a good emulator (I think Epicenter explained why that is somewhere once).

Probably FOAC-based, yes, so the games will be onboard and you probably cannot put your own NES library on a CD-R-- just use the crappy games they include. There are some set-top box DVD players that will run NES games, but they just run an emulator on their video/audio-decoding microprocessor, and the performance shows it. Roughly 1/3 the speed of a proper 60 Hz NES/Famicom unit. Maybe if you could overclock the chip by 300% you'd be in good shape .. not too likely. :) At least those let you run your library of NES ROM files off a CD, but at 20 FPS, why bother?
