"ripped off" in that he paid more than he had to. It's a unintentional mystake that I hope he'll have resolved eventually. I say just cancel your order and re-submit using the non VAT price.
Did gbax force anyone in the US to buy it ? Did he purposely take down their credit card details and make the order for them ?
I've bought things in the past on websites where eventually because of shipping or a price increase the cost has gone up, then i decide whether to cancel the order or not.
If Craig said no to any cancellations then i would get your point but from what i've read here people are just spending more in the UK to get the new GP32 early than wait a while in the US
Happens all the time to us brits waiting and paying over the odds for some american dvd/game etc
I emailed them, saying that I had paid before they excluded VAT for international customers and could they please refund the VAT. They emailed me back saying they had refunded the VAT. I'll have to wait a few days for it to come through on the credit card, but all should be good.
the $200 applies if you were to buy it from a retailer in your own country and not from the other side of the atlantic with additional taxes, exchange rate differences and higher shipping costs to take into account.
If you are happy to wait till the end of november or early december for the 2nd batch, order from a retailer in your own country.
i thought gp32z were only getting them from the second batch and after i read this on gpx2.com assumed that must the date
Hello,
There is no stupid question from my customer )
