It doesn't list pneumonia and death in that list, so I say it's not relevant to this discussion.
So this thread is about Pneumonia and death? What about taxes? What about the ones that survived covid19 (did not die, neither got symptoms; asymptomatic)

Hyperventilation or difficulty breathing 19%
Cough 31%

it also says something that looks like the toilet paper wars:
hysterical seizures of screaming and general violence, wherein tranquilizers were ineffective

John Conway (inventor of the Game of Life) has finally snuffed it after getting covid-19. XKCD did a fantastic little animation.

I see a lot of picture lately, with water rivers and sea places that after a month became incredibly clean and transparent, and them never been like this in decades...

It's pretty obvious who was the evil mind behind all this... Greta Thunberg !!

I don't think there's a conspiracy behind this.

However, I think there'll definitely be attempts to take advantage of the situation to spin some narrative. Authoritarian government will use it to tighten control of the population (Orban already started by seizing unlimited government powers for an undefined period of time), corporate-friendly governments will use it to give more money to their corporate friends (looks like Trump already started with speeches that were advertising private companies), warmongering governments will use it to foster hate against a rival country, etc.

There'll also be some more positive (at least in my point of view) spins: vegetarians questioning meat consumptions due to the risk of such diseases, environmentalists showing the benefits of reducing pollution, anti-capitalists showing how the current economic system wasn't able to answer correctly to the crisis, socialists highlighting the importance of a well-funded public health system (which is, to me, the most important lesson of this epidemic. We handled it poorly not because it was sudden/unexpected/too powerful. We handled it poorly because we spent the last decades destroying our public health systems and didn't have the means to properly handle the crisis) , etc.

Ever heard of patent EP 3172319 B1? It's named Coronavirus and it was granted right around the time that Corona broke out.
this?

A "coronavirus" is a family of viruses, not just the covid-19 coronavirus, some of which most people have already had many times in the past. I've heard this spoken and don't find a reason to not believe it. "this covid-19 will eventually become humanity's 6th coronavirus that we commonly live with" meaning the other ones produce common colds once our immune systems and the immune systems we pass on to our children have generally adapted to them so when variants come up our bodies sort of know how to respond.

The fact this exists doesn't raise any red flags to me. I would imagine things like this are probably fairly common when looking at a post antibiotic world with antibiotic resistant super bacteria. I've heard solid arguments that say engineered bacteriophages will become the antibiotic of the new century. My interpretation of this patent it is exactly that.

excerpt;
"The coronavirus may be used as a vaccine for treating and/or preventing a disease, such as infectious bronchitis, in a subject "

They referenced to SARS as SARS-coronavirus. So it's not that weird there are references to it in the past already.
However, I didn't know you could patent something like this.

They patent genomes of bio engineered corn here in the states. My guess this is something similar, probably even more so since a virus arguably 'isn't alive' or at the very least, not as alive as corn is. If you want to use it as medicine, you definitely want a patent on it.

EDIT: fixed spelling;)

There are multiple Corona related patents but this one came out a month before the COVID-19 outbreak which makes it stand out a bit. But maybe it's just coincidence. I'm just throwing it out here.

@PowerGod I know your joking, but I think Greta, like all of us, was blindsided by the covid19 and her platform suddenly fell (only to be picked up later, of course)

@SNESFAN Everybody needs a hobby. I see conspiracy theorists, fact checkers and debunkers as a necessary tool to get to know the world. Imagine the WHO believing China without fact checking?

I don't know that it really matters where this virus came from. That will out in time I'm reasonably confident, and guesses so far are mainly reliant on people's prexisting biases. Meanwhile it really doesn't affect what we need to do right now to isolate cases and find a decent vaccine for this, which will allow us to forget about it and go back to our normal lives.
