I will probably be using the Pandora for music playback quite a bit, and was wondering if anyone has hooked their unit up to some portable speakers, and if so which makes/models are worth taking a look at, not really too concerned about price but am concerned about portability & good bass/clarity response.

Anybody any ideas..?

I've not got my Pandora yet, but I do have some portable speakers that you may want to look at. I use

to provide bass and then two of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/XMI-X-mini-II-Mini-Speaker/dp/B001UEBN42/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295958793&sr=8-1

to hold up the mid/top range.

The X-mini II's daisy chain so you can add as many of those as you like, then I stick the Wowee at the end of the chain. There are probably better solutions at higher prices, but this one works for me for the performance/price ratio in a form factor I like. Worth considering.

I am using the Xmini-2 and All I can say is that it is better then my 200$

speakers I have on my computer. It has really great sound, and it's so small.

A really good buy.
