Catchphrase, The Game

Er, the GP32 doesn't have a keyboard.

Plus, it's a pretty crappy game, I found it really difficult because it's very US-centric (eg. "This is where you fill your car up" I typed "petrol station" but it wanted "gas station") as well as having really crap questions ("Made in... this country..." - seriously, this was a clue. The answer was Japan.)

Now that I think about it, it is kinda odd us "yankees" call it a "gas" station, It's a liquid, not a gas. :p

taras,

Hasbro was ill-informed to make a PC demo of this game. It's strictly a handheld pass-around party game, and ask anyone who's played the real one and they'll tell you it's fun as hell. Playing one-on-one against a computer using a keyboard should be about as entertaining as playing with a bag of rocks.

The good thing about the GP32 is a port could allow the game to store more words than the original machine (if you play Catchphrase enough you'll occassionally run into repeat words). The bad thing about the GP32 is that passing it around a circle like a hot potato may actually cause harm to the game or machine (?).

I know that, But is gasoline even the proper term?

I still call it gas though. Because screaming "I RAN OUTTA FREAKIN' PETROL" on a back road doesn't sound quite as angry.

:D I think gasoline is actually more correct than petrol(eum).

Wow, this has gone of topic, Catchphrase sucks.

Maybe it does, but you love Windows, so does your opinion really count? :D
