It's a girls bond movie. I did really like the last minute or so at the end as it felt like a proper bond movie.

I like the version with David Niven and Woody Allin (1967).

It was one of the first movies we saw on the very first Sony Betamax ever made!

... thanks a lot motherfuckers ... now I feel really old

Really? I should give it a go then, I'm not really a fan of the others.

The beginning was great.. so was the end, but the middle part of the film is just dull.
Seems that pokers been pretty big on TV & the internet for a while, so they decided that half the film can just be people doing that :(

Most Bond films are crap anyway :p

Daniel Craigs muscle wasn't really even that impressive, he failed miserably at the parkour scene aswell. Considering they seemed to build that film around his muscles, I'd of thought he'd look better. pfffffffff.

As a freebie, it wasn't /that/ bad (I've seen worse). It's certainly not worth paying to see however.

I got it for £7 on release day for the special edition DVD from ASDA.

*smacks arse pocket*

Am I the only one to think it's the best bond yet? Finally a somewhat realistic movie with a dry and cool bond, unlike the previous ones with their unrealistic shit stories and lame one-liners.
edit: of course that's my opinion.

It sucked ass... There was about 2 or 3 action scenes, the rest was just poker and crap... I would rather have watched Spice Girls the movie :p

I liked it, though not as much as other Bond films. Also, Daniel Craig looks like the Hulk.

Surely not with Meatloaf as the bus drivers and all those damn quotes from his songs applied to real life situations?

I liked it but its definitely not the best Bond film ever. I can't remember the names but I have seen better. I liked the theme toon but again there have been better ones.

Oh and I liked the poker bit. I clapped out loud when he pulled the winning hand in the last game of poker to find everyone staring at me. I guess it comes down to whether or not you like poker.

Isn't that what is supposed to make them so good? Nothing like an bad guy who has come up with a stupidly complicated scheme for destroying/taking over the world :)

Exactly... they were good because they were so cheesy! It was all good fun... now making a serious bond movie kinda takes the wind out of the sails.
