Bad films that are actually good

Godzilla (US - 1998)
Yay, I'm not the only one who loved that movie!

I was really surprised by the reception it got, myself, having seen it before ever hearing of anyone else's views or reviews on it.

I really enjoyed Godzilla when I first saw it at the cinema, but it's lost a lot over the years. Still fun though. Jean Reno doing Elvis is always good for a laugh.

The new Godzilla movie is due to wipe the floor with it apparently.

Man in rubber suit good. Man dancing to sitar dressed as Godzilla FTW! Even bigger win if fighting Mothra!

Or maybe not :p

Cyborg with jean claude van damme. It's one of a handful of decent post apocalyptic action films.

Iron Sky

Nazis on the moon, what more could you possibly want?

Great satire & great uniforms. Awesome CGI considering the budget, could be the dawn of the b movie revival IMHO.

Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983) Good, cheesy fun with Peter Strauss.

C.H.U.D. (1984) Bad, good.

Wolfen (1981) The wolf stalking down the stairs

Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam(Turkish Star Wars) - awful, just awful

Den Osynlige (2002) Remade as The Invisible which I also liked.

Fighter(2007)

To all the Alien 3 and 4 people: I pretend they never happened. Both have slivers of promise but go amazingly awry very quickly.

Monster Club with Vincent Price, kind of like The Twighlight Zone or Creepshow but for kids. Still spooked the hell out of me, when I was about 9 or 10.

If you'd read the book you'd realize just how bad the film is in comparison. :(
I know what you mean. Read Phantoms by Dean Koontz then try to enjoy the movie version. -_-
I'm a real big Koontz fan. Phantoms wasn't too bad, at least it stayed pretty close to the story. If you want to see one of his books butchered beyond recognition then watch Watchers. That film was nothing like the book (one of my faves too). The Face Of Fear and Whispers were bad movies too (although tbh those books weren't his best). :(
