Has anyone looked at this, I've never used it before myself but looks decent.

It's open source and available on Linux.

Ultimately, I'm wondering if anyone has looked at it in terms of using on Pandora.

I'd be happy to pay some bounty on it if it is possible

I may have a look at it later.

after a quick look, I have seen: Squirel language, GLSL ... hmmm, probably not a simple make & play compile...

Out of interest, how much for your time to take a deeper look ptitSeb? :)

I know nothing about SFML and just had to google it as hadn't even heard the term before

I have a builld of SFML 2.0 working (mostly) fine with glshim. I ported M.A.R.S. with it (but OpenHexxagon is not working perfectly, with glitches in the title bitmap).

And, no shader of course.

So, I don't know. Best way for me is to clone the git and give it a try, but I really want to finish a few things I started first (at least 3 pnds, maybe 4), and then I'll take a look.

Kool, cheers ptitSeb, I look forward to your findings once you get around to taking a closer look

Pandafe not available under the rock i live under.  Will have to check out.  There should absolutely be something like this bundled or promoted for the pyra.

Pandafe is great and what I boot up most for gaming sessions, but I've always wanted a more graphical frontend.

This would be perfect for me.

If we could get a themed version of this for Pyra too I think that would be a good selling point...of course already plenty selling points...

People, like me, love this type eye candy though and those looking mainly at a gaming device I think this would be a winner

Now, I have to package and all, so it will take time!

Ooh, nice one Seb, this is great news.

Really looking forward to seeing more :)

Here a snap shop with attract-Mode layout and mame4all configured (and no marquee or snapshot pack). I haven't seen how to cha

Not sure yet on how to continue now. The PND should automount other emulator PND, and also preconfigured config also, probably.

I'll conitnue to play with the frontend and see what will be my next step.

Looking good, hope can figure out how to get the marquees and snapshots showing.

Looks like this will be my main point of launching games eventually :)

They are showing, you just have to have them...

Here, some previews (from fba), but no marquee.

For now, I have M1 almost configured (the list is not yet to my liking).

I'll work a bit more and see if I can do something with (a recent) mame and mame4all.

fba is not really suited because cpaex is automaticaly launched when you exit a game...

Note that some layout doesn't work and crash egl/glshim. SFML is quite difficult to emulate!

You could have a look at emulationstation. A pretty nice gles2 frontend used on the raspberry pi with autoscraping of game info.

I'll finish attract mode first...

I am progressing, now the names are clean with M1. Other layout are working too (still no marquee, there should be working, I just doesn't have installed them on my pandora)
