I checked the marketplace, but there is never much activity there, so I started this thread here. If it's a problem, a mod can move it.

I know some customers ordered more than one Pandora(myself included), So I'm guessing we should see some auctions soon?

I may bid on one if I don't get a confirmation soon, but I'm sure the prices will be super high, so I'll wait and see how they go. I would "buy it now" for 500 if I could get it before mine shows up. ;)

Chris

Jumpman are you saying you have ordered two Pandora's and you want to also buy a third one off ebay ?

I'll probably be putting mine up on ebay. Unless it blows me away I can't see any reason why I'd need it anymore... not complaining but I don't have a use for it after waiting so long. I'll probably just start it at $300 US and see where it goes...

ugh... just posting here to share my disliking of Pandora's associated with ebay... ebay is one of those cesspits of the net... you just know everybody gets screwed (except ebay offcourse)

I hope not! So some sh*thead can make more money, people who actually want to use it have to wait longer to get theirs. It's just wrong. (nothing personal, this is only aimed at people who explicitly resell for profit)

I have kept my order in place to support the project IF the pandora isnt right for me which I doubt! I will sell on here for cost plus money to cover postage.

I'm just looking to get my fix! :p The wait is killing me! ;)

I currently make my living selling items on ebay, so I'll buy a game, system, ect that I got a good price on, even though I may have ordered it else where, and then I just flip em online. Here in the states I bought Red Dead Redemption & Mario Galaxy 2 on Amazon and got a 20 dollor credit for both games(40 total).

I didn't want to wait for them to show up(the mail takes to long), so I bought them both locally for 10 under retail, now once they both arrive, I'll sell them both for what I paid, and I'll have both games plus a forty dollor credit at Amazon. I'm not getting rich doing that, but I got 2 games I wanted to play, and I could buy a third for the price of two. Not Bad IMO!

Obviously you have only looked at eBay for things newly released. eBay can be a valuable source to find old games, toys, and other items in good condition and good prices. You have to know what to look for and how to bid. I have made plenty of purchases on eBay for very good prices and have not regretted one of my purchases yet.

Too much effort if you ask me.

To be honest, if I like a game, I'll buy and then play it...not buy it, then sell it, then buy it again, because that just means you get more of a hard-on selling it then playing it.

I am also with God Ginrai but ebay is crazy these days ,some old stuff has stupid prices like some dreamcast games that are not even that rare ,and on the flip the new stuff like xbox 360 and ps3 games in second hand condition sell for the same price as brand new in retail and online stores with free postage yet ebay get more fees and sellers add postage on to the final cost.

But yeh i buy quite alot of old console stuff on ebay ,sega saturn stuff being my fav at the moment.

I must add my little rant is indeed mostly based on relatively new stuff. It can be a valuable place for older things. It wasn't so bad years ago, but these days you have to be so careful what to buy and what not. So these days I tend to avoid the place if other sources are available.

If you find a trustworthy looking Switchless Modded US Saturn, let me know. ;)

What kind of mod is a Switchless Modded chip? And why the necessity for it?

This is a good video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BANoiSbGlQ

@Prometheus: Yes, like those. But they only have White Japanese in Stock. I'd prefer Black US.

I believe they can modify a pre-existing unit for you if you send it to them, if that helps. I almost had that done, but I just nabbed a Japanese unit and one of those region-unlocking cartridges from Play-Asia instead.

I loved the white Japanese model, one of my favorite systems of all time. I sold mine years ago, and I sold one for my friend last year, but it doesn't matter, both of ours had a switch mod. I didn't know you could still find them at retail, good find.
