Is 270mhz guaranteed overclock considered good? (this is after over 20 tests...)
How many of you actually got to 340? Is it possible?

The highest I can go is 245. And it sucks --- for me anyway, because I want to play GBA and SNES and DOS games as smoothly and nicely as possible. People with units that clock to 300MHz make me ANGRY.

If I were buying now, I'd definitely go for a 270MHz one - especially since the alternative (if you buy from gbax, anyway) is to get one with a guaranteed-crap overclocking ability.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Quake.

Nothing needs really over 240 overclock: GBA will eventually be fullspeed, SNES is already very fast without overclock (with it it's blazing), and everything else only needs slight overclock for fullspeed, if they need overclock at all. DOS is too hard to emulate to begin with anyway...

Mine can go to about 260, but the highest I've ever needed to overclock was 250.

Thanks guys, looks like I was lucky.

I'm in Poland, but got mine from Play-Asia.com, and it seems after many tests it goes to 285.

Much cheaper (even with import tax) than any European equivalent so far.

Very happy customer. And they put some crackle-candy in the box! Fantastic, not seen that since I was, like, 8 years old :)

I def. appreciated the candy that came with my GP2X when I ordered from Playasia.com, I haven't eaten it, but it was still a very nice touch :)

I haven't tried mine passed 270. At that point the batteries start to scream! I don't have the heart to push it any more that that. I usually back off.

I ate mine!! It was 'Strawberry ... my favorite kind!' (Anyone know the reference? :p )

BOT: Mine goes to 266. I use that speed when I play GBA games :D
