shinneri - I couldn't tell for sure when I had it in my hands... it LOOKED like the screen cover was part of the faceplate. I asked the Nintendo rep who the thing was chained to... (it's so funny.. they get these hot girls and give them four-five GBA Micros or DS's, and have this tether attached from the systems to the outfits the girls are wearing... then they walk around and act as 'mobile kiosks'... just walk up to them and they'll hand you one to play... you can even play multiplayer with the girls as the 'hub'... funny stuff)... anyways not big surprise she had no clue of the screen cover and faceplate were one piece.
Nintendo have always been conscious of this though... before the SP and DS with their 'built in screen protection' (referring to the fact that they fold, of course) every Gameboy before that had a removable screen cover and Nintendo sells these very easy do-it-yourself screen cover replacement kits... so they know that they get scratched up and people get bothered by that and want to fix it... it only makes sense the screen cover on this new non folding GBA would be easily replaceable in that same vein.
