Screens on mobile phones seem to crack these days if you just look too hard onto them

I hate the modern trend for wrapping the screen around the device. Seems very gimmicky to me. Also off-topic, I only just heard about and understood what people's issue with "notches" are. Now apparently they are trying to hide the camera underneath the screen.

I'm so glad Pyra doesn't have a camera, and will also be glad when I can get rid of my current "surveillance device" (RMS parlance for modern mobile phones)

But be aware that even the Strongest Plastik may not prevent the Pyra from Damage if you drop the unit

Or drive a tractor over it? ;)

Unimog = universelles Motorgerät = universal motor vehicle
You could get a tractor aproval for these things.

The thing is: lots of city’s rather buy a Traktor or a small truck for their purpose than a Unimog, I saw some Traktor mowing the side meadows on the „Autobahn „ (Highway, Road where Cars can drive very fast) whit a truck behind to secure..
They sell lot more Unimog in the Past

Also our Model was about 20.000 DM in 1974 where a modern Model is about 250.000 € (500.000 DM) for the Basic ..

But this is a topic for another thread

While this is true, in this specific and matzesu centered case, its definitely a Unimog.

But this is a topic for another thread

Why should every thread become a keyboard thread, we can also derail some of them to become Unimog threads.

I want a Unimog. I saw one parked at the grocery store on the island I live on.

I think you did understand wrong.

You're able to register an Unimog as an tractor.
A vehicle registered as an tractor has manny advantages compared to an truck.
Which means that youre able to drive an Unimog brandet tractor.

This vehicle for example could be registered as a tractor or truck.

(I was allowed to drive one of this little monster some time ago. This is a absolute fantastic feeling to drive with it through the mountain. If I ever have 100k€ to 200k€ to much, I will definitly buy one of them.)

Hm, I am not sure. Depends on what I should understand. :D

I know that it can be registered as tractor or truck.

I just wanted to point out that in matzesus case tractor means probably Unimog.
@matzesu Or are you also an MB-Trac fan ?

So we can say, an unimog can be a truck, or a tractor.
But not every tractor is a unimog.

@Bernd Where did you get to drive that "monster" ?

It was in Austria.

The manufactuer of this vehicle had an event for company-worker and potentiell customer on an tank-training area (Panzergrube) where you were able to drive all of their products under supervision
(I went there with an friend who bought an G3 Metrac.)

I have to say that that this vehicle are all smaller than they look and are extreme agile.
The turn radius is as small as they are long and the climb rate is extreme.
But sadly as mountain vehicle they arn't able to swim.

And if someone thinks a manual geared car is complicated to drive, should take a look inside this vehicles. ;)

During his time at the German Navy, a friend of mine bought an Unimog, he saw sitting around on a farm, so he had something to do in his free time rebuilding it. By now, it's done and he's looking to sell. He lives near Rostock.

Oh I doubt I could afford that, and I have no idea where Rostock is.

Since you want one, I thought I'd let you know. :) Rostock is in Germany at the Baltic Sea. The minimum he wants was someting between 20k and 30k EUR, I think.

Ah yeah I'm near Seattle, and it's more I want one but I know I can't afford one. Thank you though!

Rostock -> Seattle on a Unimog could be quite some adventurous trip, though. ... if one can afford that much gasoline, that is. ;)
