How do you link the two together? I've got a 128 that I'd like to get up and running again, but I don't have much in the way of software on 5.25 disks anymore. If I could network to the PC, though, I could transfer all of these disk images back to the disks.
Using one of the X-cables is a good way... they allow you to connect almost any serial Commodore drive to a PC.

exactly, it is a bit tricky, you need a cable to connect the 1541 floppy drive with the printer port of you computer and then you need the program called star commander. You can find the cables on ebay. I got an XE cable and this was quite a pain, it worked only on the oldest laptop that I have. But if you get it to work then it is really a lot of fun
Ok, thanks guys - once I had "x1541 cable" Google was my friend
