It could be useful, but I beg you to follow good user interface guidelines. It looks pretty terrible as it does now:
The window is far too big for whats in it. Simplify the look and try to keep it consistent with the rest of Windows.
The tabs are on the bottom, which is incorrect. They should...
The touch screen for the Pandora opens up some interesting possibilities for homebrew, mostly for emulators. For something like Basillisk II (a 68000 Mac emulator) having a touchscreen for mouse input would be very handy and quite easy to implement due to MacOS having standardised input.

They're completely different engines. The only thing you can compare Sauer to is Cube and even that is unique.
Cube has gotten handheld ports before and I remember there being a Cube clone that had a similar feature set being released on the GP32 and GBA. A Cube port is most definitely possible...

Does the GPL source even include...
Never touched a GP2X, but my first-gen GP32 was quite sturdy. The directional stick was a problem, but stuffing paper in it made it work fine. I dropped it from around 1 1/2 meters once on a hard surface and there was no visible damage and it continued working properly.
The only downside was...
