    Some Simple Gp2x Questions

See... it's this kinda comment that bugs me. Not his opinion -- he's entitled to that. But the comment "than have all the problems that people are getting with the f 200"... The one and only "problem" with the F-200 is changes made to the USB which makes coding on the unit more cumbersome...

Fenix And Ultimate Fenix Supporting Touch Screen

This is a very exciting update! Hopefully it will encourage more touch screen homebrew. Can't wait! :D

    Some Simple Gp2x Questions

Yeah, I was just being silly. Any chance to make a Chrono reference, I jump on it! :D I think I was one of the minority who actually liked the F-100's joystick, but I had an MK2 (which came in the value pack), and I'm pretty sure most of the main joystick issues concerned the original MK1 model.

    Our New Machine, Pandora

Why hasn't this thread been moved? It doesn't belong in General GP2X Talk AT ALL. There's already one overly bloated thread about this ("Our New Machine"). We really don't need TWO. <_<

    Some Simple Gp2x Questions

On very first use, the D-Pad may seem a little funky, but it's easy to learn to use it effectively after a short period of time. I have an F-200 and I play a lot of fighting games, and there's not been a special move that I haven't been able to pull off on the D-Pad (except maybe full 360...

    Graffiti Released

I played around with Graffiti a bit today... it's a pretty cool little app. Of course, I found drawing with accuracy a little difficult... but that's because I mainly use the rounded back end of the F-200 stylus (since the black tip you're supposed to use seems a little pointy and I'm afraid...

Calling F200 Owners To Test A Game Update - Boomshine2x

Isn't it great? The F-200 has only been out a VERY short time and we already have some cool things to play with on our touch screens: ScummVM, Meloncoke's Graffiti, and now Sam is working on this! *Does the happy dance!*

    I Hate The F-200 D Pad !

I don't it was GPH's plan to "kick" the F-100 "in the balls". The F-200 is a minor upgrade, similar to what Nintendo has done with every one of it's handhelds since the original GameBoy was released. I'm sure GPH does not expect every F-100 owner to run out and buy the F-200 as well (I'm sure...

    Gp2x F200

Are you asking about the GP2X in general, or a comparison between the F-100 and F-200? The GP2X can handle all three of those systems with no problems, with the exception of a handful of SNES games developed with specialized chips (Yoshi's Island and Super Mario RPG for instance). In those the...

    Should I Buy Gp2x F-200?

Yes. I've never had to return anything to them, but on their site it says you can exchange faulty merchandise six months after the purchase date.

    Should I Buy Gp2x F-200?

You can purchase the F-200 online from Play-Asia. They ship to the US. I bought mine from them for $169.99 plus $25.80 shipping (UPS) and it arrived a day and a half after I ordered it! And it's not fair to make a definitive statement like "the D-Pad is awful". That makes it sound like it's...

    Should I Buy Gp2x F-200?

Thank goodness I got here before all the vultures did! I'd say go for it - buy an F-200. I have one and I love it. There are no real "problems" with the F-200. When it first came out a handful of emulators did not work correctly on the F-200, but the major ones (MAME and PocketSNES for example)...

    I Hate The F-200 D Pad !

Wow! I actually really like the F-200's D-Pad, but I'd buy one of those mod covers (if they were for sale -- and not too expensive). I can see how sometimes it would be useful in game play. :)

Built In F200 Games Crashing - Not Impressed

It's never crashed on me. The supposed F-200 "problems" are MAINLY a mixture of negative hype and use by n00bs. There were MINOR incompatibility issues for just a few days when it came out, but there have been new releases of MAME and PocketSNES that have addressed many of those issues. And...

Calling F200 Owners To Test A Game Update - Boomshine2x

Hell yes! I'm gonna go try this out right now! Thanks, Sam! :D EDIT... I totally jumped the gun. I thought you threw it up in the Archives or something (of couse, being a beta test, that wouldn't be likely...). I guess I just got carried away with my excitement. Yes, I'd be glad to test your...

    Gp2x F200

As one of the seeming minority who actually liked the MK2's joystick, I have to say that I like the F-200's D-Pad just about the same (but in a different way). I never felt like the MK2's joystick was impeding me from performing accurate movements, but I must say that if you play fighting games...

    Scummvm: F200 Touchscreen Support

I DEFINITELY find these games much more fun on the F-200! I'd say that this emulator alone is persuasion enough for anyone to get their hands on an F-200. Now if only we could get some touch screen support on a few other computer-based emulators (particularly Amiga!). :D

    Scummvm: F200 Touchscreen Support

So I tried Broken Sword in both of your new builds and the touch screen works great! (I only played for a minute with both, but I'm able to point and "click" perfectly with the stylus so far). You constantly amaze me with your work, DJWillis!
