For the N64 plug-in, savegames are not yet supported. SRAM should be fairly easy but I'm not quite sure yet about flash and EEPROM saves.

    Jaguar "Do the Maths" :)

Huch?

    Jaguar "Do the Maths" :)

    Jaguar "Do the Maths" :)

    Retrode2

Actually, support for Amiga 2-button joysticks should be easy to implement. Puff away ;) (Though, to be fair, analog devices such as paddles won't work with the Retrode) Yes I do. Less than two Stelladaptors.

    Retrode2

There are a few catches about this. First, "locally obtained electronics"- nope. It took me half a year to find a supplier for GBA slots, and they required me to buy 1000+ of them, and not exactly for cheap. Second, "let the user do the soldering" - another nope. A Retrode user recently tried to...

    Retrode2

Yes. They're technically pretty much the same. Don't know. I'm hesitant to take pre-orders myself this time, since it might collide with the interests of potential retailers. ED, for example - but then, since he's in the boat, you're almost guaranteed to notice when the device becomes available :)

Because, just as the Pandora (albeit on a smaller scale), more than half of what the Retrode is today does in fact go back to your input. How many unpractical suggestions from the community did not end up in the final Pandora? Quite a bunch, it would seem -- same here. Provided I find the time...

I think "gay" is as poor a choice of words inside of America as it is anywhere else in the world. I am sorry the design does not please your eyes, but since you appear to be the only one, you may just have to live with it. Loose parts? Better not, see previous post. And if the hinge axes lie...

    Retrode2

How does it look "gay" if I may ask? Though gaiety is pretty much what I feel when I look at the design :) Internal dust flaps would have required the case to be at least 20mm higher, otherwise they would collide with the connectors while pivoting down.

    OTG Port

Got it to run now. Turns out my eBay/China OTG adapter was essentially a plastic hose with USB connectors glued on and no electrical connection whatsoever. What a scam.... With a proper adapter cable, it worked right away. No more hub needed to hook up my Retrode :)

    Guitar Simulator Application

That's because no one has contacted me who could try to compile the app for the Pandora and, maybe, help me in setting up a dev environment with Qt4.

    Retrode

Okay, so let's have a look at the DMCA: SNES games have a CIC chip on board, I give you that. But what is it for if it is not even electrically connected to the ROM chip?? Well, turns out that the CIC controls access to the console, not the game(*)! Apart from that, the cartridge does nothing...

    Retro-Gaming Poll

Odd, isn't it? I placed a similar poll on my own website, and there the option "more than 100" got more votes than all others combined.

    Retrode

The definition of DRM is pretty narrow, and the use of exotic media doesn't count as it, unless some encryption or watermarking is involved. The game cartridges I'm aware of don't use DRM but have standard JEDEC-compliant memory chips inside.

    Retro-Gaming Poll

No problem. I just added the appropriate poll option :)
