    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

Most of the emulators that are part of mednafen are based on emulators that have been optimized in the past, ie fce ultra, handy, gnuboy, so some of these optimizations could likely be ported over. I can't promise anything, but anyone is welcome to have a stab at it :) I would also like a...

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

I'm unable to reproduce this. Could you provide some more details? Have you modified the config file in any way?

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

First try to run any of the emulators and have it fail. Then open the file manager and click "File System" on the left then open the "tmp" folder. You should see a file called pndrun_mednafen.out that will hopefully provide a clue to why its failing. Yes, it supports zipped roms.

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

Not sure without more information. It works fine for me using minimenu or xfce. Could you post the contents of the file /tmp/pndrun_mednafen.out?

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

I included the main mednafen html documentation with: <info name="Mednafen Documentation" type="text/html" src="mednafen.html"/> The main additional thing I think I should document in the pnd are the default controls. Any feedback on what the default controls should be particularly with lynx...

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

Yes you can edit the config file, but actually the easiest way is to start the emulator and press Shift-Alt-1 and it will prompt you to configure the controls. You have to press each button or pad direction twice- once to set and a second time to confirm. I'll edit my original post above.

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

I haven't tried any SuperGrafx games but they should be supported according to the documentation. If someone tries some, please let us if they work and how they perform. Regarding the performance of the mednafen PC engine emulation in general, it appears to be flawless running at 600Mhz using...

    Beta Mednafen 0.9.17.1-Wip

Hi all, I recently built a version of mednafen 0.9.17.1-WIP with all of the systems enabled that work perfect or (reasonably) well on the Pandora. This should supersede the PC engine only build (mednafen-pce) I released a while back. It supports the following systems: Game Boy Advance Game...

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

You should use Esc (Fn-q) to exit.

I thought I had read the whole thread, I guess I just missed that. My apologies.

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Thanks notaz for all the great work on this fantastic emulator! I'm wondering if there is a problem on your end with the git repository. I tried this from a couple different machines with the same result. $ git clone git://notaz.gp2x.de/~notaz/pcsx_rearmed.git Cloning into pcsx_rearmed...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Sorry off topic, but where do you download the source for picklelauncher? I've been looking for it.

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

    - Check that you have the latest version (r2b) installed. - Try deleting mednafen-pce from the appdata directory and relaunching. (This shouldn't be necessary but who knows) - If that fails, please post the contents of /tmp/pndrun_mednafen-pce.out I'd rather not include Pickle launcher unless...

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

Note that ogg is supported as well. The tool I used to generate the cue iso and ogg files from a CD was included with Exophase's temper emulator. If you download the gp2x version of Temper, there is a windows exe and a source file included.

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

You will want to launch it with the cue file. Its possible your syscard3.pce could be a bad dump and you could try running usa_fix mentioned earlier in this thread on it. You can also post the contents of /tmp/pndrun_mednafen-pce.out

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

You should see a file in /tmp called pndrunmednafen-pce_run.out If you can post the contents of that file, I can try to help. Update: I realized I made a mistake in my packaging. Please grab version r2b above.

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

Here is another release- r2b I moved to mednafen 0.9.16-wip and it fixed several issues. Scaling issues should be fixed. The newer version allows you to turn off the aspect ratio correction which was making things ugly when scaled. Speed is better, now CD games (at least the ones I tried)...

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

Are you using the version from the archive or the version with picklelauncher? They have different scaling settings. When overclocked to 600 Mhz I have not not noticed any choppiness in any hucard games. fps is consistent at 60. CD games are another story and too slow at the moment. Which...

    Beta Panplayer Beta

Thanks for all the work on this, it looks very promising so far. I'm encountering AV sync issues, the same issue that I had with the mplayer from the community codec pack. The video lags behind the audio and seems to get worse and worse over time. The video is xvid, encoded with mencoder...

    Beta Mednafen-Pce

I will look into doing this. I noticed you changed the launch script to use SDL_OMAP_LAYER_SIZE=512x478 and wondered where you got these values. The reason I was using 640x464 was because the normal window size mednafen creates with pce.xscale=1 and pce.yscale=1 is 320x232 Maybe this is...
