What types of rechargeables have you guys had the most success with? I bought some 2700mAh Opteka brand AAs, but when I use them my GP2X crashes for some reason.
Seems to work fine with the regular AA batteries I just yanked out of my TV remote, that's weird. I had just charged the other ones.
EDIT: I didn't realize I had posted this in the GP32 help board, sorry.
I think I may have broken my GP2X. It's one of the newer ones, I bought it last December. I was playing F-ZERO on SuidgeSNES at 260mhz (I normally use between 240-60mhz for emulation) after playing some other games on other emulators at 240mhz and 250mhz for about twenty minutes. After about...
ANother thing: I've noticed gpSP has created a file called "gba_bios.cfg" above the directory I installed it in. Is this normal? What is this file for?
I have gp SP in \Emulators\gpSP\ and this file shows up in \Emulators\
It looks like a domain for sale page, though - and I can't imagine why it would do that (redirect to a completely different site, when an index page for this one exists in there).
When attempting to access the boards by entering:
http://www.gp32x.de/board
I am redirected to some other site. If I add index.php to the end, it works fine though.
Try it yourself.
1. I'm pretty sure I downloaded the latest version, but it still says 9008 in the debug settings screen before the emulator starts - is this normal?
2. When i set the CPU clock on the blue debug options before the emulator loads, does it actually carry over into the game? I ask because when I...
You know, I could understand anger at a company like Sony or Nintendo for doing something like that, but GPH really needs all the income they can get - don't they?
Right now I have my GP2X running most clock speed adjustable programs at 260mhz, and haven't had any problems. Is there any easy way to test how high I can get the clock without having stability issues? Can testing a system incapable of running at 275mhz stably cause permanent damage?
I like my GP2X, but I don't really think it's worth the $180 I paid for it. i would've like a little more emulation support (SNES, Neo Geo games running at full speed with sound).
