it could also simply be a memory issue :) the gp32 has got less ram than the gp2x, so that's very possible :)

    Possible Cause Of Fenix Crashes.

one of the things that has a serious memory leak is the usage of maps. every time you create a map (image in the memory) and unload it again, a bit of memory is lost. or at least, it was like that with the gp32 ^^ i don't know what other things have leaks and i'm also a bit amazed at this...

    Possible Cause Of Fenix Crashes.

the problem is probably just memory leaks. the debugger is extra stuff loaded in the memory, so you might go out of memory faster than without it...

    Scrollery.

    1. as woogal said, this is the fenix forum, so guess :P 2. it's how fenix works. if you make tiles, every tile will be a process, and fenix can't handle that many processes (at least not on a gp32/gp2x). it has however got support for scrolling backgrounds, and i don't know if/how it optimalises...

just go to fenix on fire, it can't be hard to find ^^

    Scrollery.

as long as we're talking fenix, the huge background is best i'm afraid. fenix has no optimalisation of any kind for tiled graphics, so it'd become insanely heavy in the way fenix works, and is undoable. and to make the big pic scroll, fenix has built in scrolling support, you can find some...

    Real Type

welcome to the field of computer science . this is one of the basics of computer science. for us it's normal to work in base 10, but never ever forget that the computers doesn't work in base 10, it works in base 2 nice round decimal numbers will rarely be nice round binary numbers. so your pc...

Gp32 Not Loading Anything. Please Suggest A Fix!

isn't it probably just he contacts of the gp32 being oxidised? just insert and remove a card a LOT of time, blow the dust out of the thing, and with some luck it'll start working again (or open it up and see if you can't clean the contacts a bit)

Wait For The Xgp Mini Or Dive Into A Gp2x?

would be great if they're open source. i haven't been following up on them at all, i just remember that he main difference was that the xgp was supposed to be a psp wannabe, closed source with lots of commercial titles. maybe that's changed by now. wasn't that the reason gamepark and gamepark...

Wait For The Xgp Mini Or Dive Into A Gp2x?

i doubt the emus will ever get ported to the gxp (mini). afaik, it's gonna be a completely commercial handheld, where they don't want the community to code for it (so no release of tools for it etc...). it's probably gonna be too bothersome to make something on it, to justify the exposure of...

    Fpgedit Woes

i think it expects black to be the first (and transparant). why not just make your backgroudn black, and your lines the color closest to black. you won't see a difference, and the problem will probably be solved

GP2X Devs Please Underclock Your Apps

ahh, a reasonable person to talk with ^^ sorry if i also jumped the gun a bit, but i don't see what's impolite or unreasonable about his request. sure, he asks for a lot when asking devs to do it to older progs, but he did it with arguments. it's asking for a lot (too much even, i agree), but i...
