Like the new version - can not set the max to stop it crashing:-). Since it was crashing on the old version at 1246MHz I've started it at 1245MHz and... so far so good!
So that gives:
i) 1GHz no 1: 1166MHz (overnight)
ii) 1GHz no 2: 1245MHz (15 mins in... will edit to update in an hour)...
Just got the main board in my Pandora replaced. The replacement has some keyboard issues. If I press '4' then '4' and '8' appear. Similarly there are other pairs of keys that duplicate it other - such as 'r' and 'i'.
Is this likely something simple like misaligned key mat or more likely a...
Looks good - I'd been using cpuburn to check stability since that uses heavy neon.
Be great to have a way of setting max mhz too, since it climbs until the Pandora crashes on both my 1GHz units. If I limit it in the OS then it complains about other things changing the speed.
I managed to get...
I'd like to upgrade my CC unit. It has a dodgy hold/power switch, the mic fell off and the plastics are worn:

Can I just order:

Mine is still the slowest in survey, but I'm wondering what you are checking for stability with. I used cpuburn that purposefully runs high voltage instructions - e.g. heavy neon. It appears to clock to 1200+ without issue on some other software.
Uploaded a newer build with these changes:
i) Workaround for the conversation box issue.
ii) Removed debug info - now 2MB rather than 10MB!
I entirely removed the brightness setting entirely since I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing anything. Found the best thing to do is the the LCD settings...
I've just been trying it out a bit and there seems to be a problem with the conversation dialog. It gets narrower and narrower and does not allow scrolling to the bottom. Will try to get to the bottom of it...Let me know if you find more (simple - can't really get right into the gemrb core)...
Here is a pnd for gemrb 0.7.1:
http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=gemrb-31292
Features beyond simple compile:
i) Brightness boosted (I found brightness controls not working - its currently just locked...)
ii) Touchscreen position when scrolling off edge.
i.e. not alot...
Yep, definitely the mic. No idea what is going on with the hold though. Possibly the hold/power switch is slightly broken. Probably an easy repair for someone in the know so going to see if I can 'upgrade' it...
Here is a pnd for 0.71 that is in the same format as the usual (i.e. I pinched the scripts/icon etc)
http://www.scrameta....mrb_071beta.pnd
Please give it a try. Will try to contact JurnD to update the repo.
Features beyond plain compile:
i) Brightness boosted (I found brightness...
I think you're probably right that its the mic. Will check tonight! If it is the mic that's good since I've never used it anyway :-)
The 'stuck keys'/hold issue must be something else then. Hmmm. Unless it was the mic shorting things out! I'll have to double check if its still behaving odd now...
No idea, was on reverse of board and I've never removed it for fear of damaging LCD cable! Will see if I can get glue off to see part number on top tonight and will ask Craig or Ed about possible repair cost.
My old CC Pandora has developed a fault. It seems to be going very slow/becomes unresponsive intermittently. I ran the keyboard test and found that hold appears to trigger randomly at times + sometimes other keys seem stuck.
I took it apart to have a look and found a loose cylindrical...
I tried the intro sequence and there wasn't much in it - not worth editing/posting. Is there slowdown later in the game? How far do I have to play to find it?
Got BG2 working. Before I make a video is there a trick to adjust the brightness? The gui controls don't seem to do alot! Guess I'll just do the opening animation since there are a few spells etc there and it will be the same on both (performance allowing...).
I'll try out BG1 character...
