What's The Most Powerfull ? Open Pandora Or Iphone 3Gs ?

Well durr, that's because at both the Pandora's and the 3Gs' resolutions the fill rate of the GPU doesn't bottleneck either, causing no noticable performance hit from the jump in resolution.

What's The Most Powerfull ? Open Pandora Or Iphone 3Gs ?

He said resolution didn't matter when comparing the 3Gs' resolution to that of the Pandora. Real selective reading you have there...

Yeah, I think the problem is that the comments are stuck in the Defensio queue. I have next to no access on the admin site, we're gonna have to wait for Gruso.

So, you can see other peoples comments? I made a comment, that I could see until I cleared my cache, now I can't see it anymore. "There might be a connectivity issue between you and Defensio. Your comments will automatically processed within the next 10 minutes" That MAY have been there since...

What's The Most Powerfull ? Open Pandora Or Iphone 3Gs ?

Theoretically, but there are likely to be other bottlenecks which will negate the impact of raising the clockspeed. A 2.0 GHz P4 won't complete SuperPi at exactly double the speed of an identical P4 clocked at 1.0 GHz. EDIT: Negate is the wrong word. The fact that you won't experience exactly...

Not 50% faster. The CPU clockspeed will be 50% higher. That won't translate to 50% more speed.

    Notaz and his Pandora!!

PSP vs Pandora is the most interesting comparison. Button and nub size in particular. The Pandora looks much more comfortable, but I've always prefered the very attractive layout of the PSP.

I was just suggesting it :) If code is a problem, you can just decide using the percentage of solid pixels in the space of a tile, if it should be solid or not and continue to use your current code. Just a suggestion, you know, the reason you've got a thread, so people can make suggestions...

Foxblock. What's wrong with using what he gave you as a collision sheet. Just grab the pixel colour off the image during your map initialization, if it's transparent, make it non solid, if it's got colour make it solid. If you've got an artist willing to draw levels for you like that, then...

Thinking Of Developing A New Frontend

Prototype it. If it feels right, continue, if it doesn't, stop. It would take you a decent day to prototype this with fixed function OGL. Mathematically it's just a few sine calculations.

An off-topic attempt to get the thread back on track is better than a smartass sarcastic comment. There's plenty of threads about the cases, let's keep this one about the blog.
