Delivery isn't fast that's for sure... I always got the stuff I ordered within 2-3 weeks though. Considering the shipping is free it's not that bad IMO. Just not recommended if you need something quickly.

$16.67 Repair Parts Replacement LCD Module with Backlight for PSP 1000
That's a lot less expensive. Not sure if it's the same quality though.
It is in the Angstrom repository
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/?pkgname=fbreader
It also already runs on the nokia n800 and a lot of other portable devices. So really you can expect this to compile and run on the Pandora without much issue.
There are some dependency and I don't...
I am not a specialist but from what I've reed on the forum it seems unlikely overclocking would do any permanent damage to the Hardware. It might/will reduce it's lifespan a bit but it would still easily run for more than 1 year.
To be honest I am not exactly sure how high you can push the...
+1 I hope they will start producing the cases soon.
I am personally quite surprised about their concern, especially considering this is in the inside. What really matters though is the opinion of Michael / Dave.
I don't understand what you are getting at ?
Idle is basicaly just an improved text editor. Would could run IDLE on the Pandora if you want. Python code is usally portable so you would compile it on the Pandora just as you would on your computer. Maybe you're hitting at a cross compiling (no...
From what I understand a number of people consider MD5 "good enough"... seems like collision attack are becoming relatively easy those day.
Anyway it's not like it's yet implemented of anything... it was just an idea.
If it is ever implemented I believe it would be worth looking into using...
It's good to know the Chinese factory is running again.
Before they actually begin production I wouldn't hold my breath though. The Pandora is a relatively small order and I wouldn't be surprised if they (once again) take extra time to get to work.
My understand from the molding process is...
Just a idea but why not have signed PND ? It doesn't have to be mandatory but it could be a plus in my opinion. It could be a better way to maintain a list of trusted PND. Obvisouly the individual creating the PND would have to sign them (and this isn't implemented yet of course) or there could...
Does the 150 a day refer to how many Craig's shop can send ?
You have to remember thatn some unit might be shipped directed from the factory in Texas to US Customer. Then some unit will be shipped from Craig's Shop and some from Evildragon's shop.
EDIT: Sorry you were talking about assembly...
Foobar2000 works well for me under Wine (On a x86 PC of course). Audio output though Pulseaudio is fine too.
I started using in under wine just for tagging and now I am even beginning to use it as my normal audio player.
Also a linux music player I quite like is Gmusicbrowser. Amarok and...
Welcome to the forum :)
There will be no difference between the first 500 and the 3500 after. Openpandora was hoping that their chinese case manaufacturer would be able to produce a batch of 500 cases before the chinese new year. Unfortunaltely this was not the case. All the case for the...
I am also wondering what's defferent on those Rev.5.... are the 1000's board produced by the factory Rev5 ?
I doubt there is anything dramatic in this new rivision anyway just want to make sure what we're talking about.
Lol no. I believe the idea is simply to connect this to the Pandora though USB. This would act as an external hard-drive, usb hub and card reader.
The idea of an dock station isn't bad but it would need to do more than this IMO.
I personally would imagine some homemade dock that would into...
I think It's a bit too early to talk about MeeGo on the Pandora. We will have to wait for the first release of Meego first.
Hopefully it will be more open than Maemo. Maemo always had a number of proprietary component. There is the Mer project which is 100% opensource but isn't really polished...
