Getting a cheap Android tablet for xmas to keep me on until my Pandora gets shipped. It arrived today and I give it a quick run through to make sure everything worked and noticed what I presume to be a problem??
When I shut it down (not put it in standby) the backlight seems to stay on...
Ah cotcha, cheers for the info.
I've been under the assumption that it just integrated all the different available emulators and have stayed away from it for that very reason. Think it would be a good idea to download it A.S.A.P and see what I'm missing :)
Doesn't Mess just act as a frontend and command forwarder/converter for all the emulators? It should just be a case of swapping Mame executables to get it using a different version shouldn't it? It's not like the Mame program itself has changed much over the years, just the compatibility with games.
I see what you did there ;)
Love the graphics and it does remind of an updated R-Type.
I've had nothing but trouble trying to get steam working on Windows and don't have enough privileges to up vote it or I would. Certainly one to keep an eye out for though, thanks :)
Exactly.
The only reason the American government seem to want him expedited is because he embarrassed them. I don't think that's a good enough reason to throw his rights out of the window and do whatever they want with him. He's already been found guilty and sentenced by the laws that he broke...
That was a bad analogy but the point is that this was the department of defences computer system. The guy wasn't a really top class hacker and yet he still got in. I find that a little more worrying than someone breaking into a house.
He shouldn't have been able to get anywhere near something...
The guy who hacked all those computers in America. The American government wanted him to serve his prison sentence over in the USA instead of over here in the U.K.
They should be thanking him for showing them an extreme weakness in their security IMO. You leave your door open and you can't...
It's all fun and games until they wipe poo on your Pandora
She's growing up well. Hope she doesn't start claiming all your gaming stuff as her own like my nephew's done with me. Not seen my Gameboy Color for months :(
I wouldn't have thought so. There has to be replacement firmware available before you can even consider going that far into it. As far as I'm aware there isn't.
The nubs were bought as a package with the firmware included and added onto the board which was created separately.
The Pandora...
They will probably be treated the same as plugging in a joystick I would have thought. They don't really have anything to do with the main Pandora board itself and a Pandora can operate fully without them.
Bought Mario Kart Double Dash second hand off ebay for £20 and decided to give it a good clean before putting it in my Gamecube for a very anticipated first play through. Didn't realise my mum had been cleaning stuff with the cloth and had put nail varnish remover on it. Melted the disc in about...
For one of the keywords/search term to try and get new sales, you could use ScummVM. It's one of the things that Pandora does really well (apparently), and I'll bet that there will be quite a few people who'll pay out for a machine that fits in a pocket and can run that flawlessly.
