Makes you wonder how much those people must have believed in the Pandora and team to pay out for something that didn't even exist when they had very little money to live on doesn't it?
Now you know why the people are so angry about not getting what they paid for and for receiving something...
True. That was the reason why I got into the GP2X/Pandora scene to start with.
I used to love it when someone brought out a clever bit of code that could improve a project no end. I still remember Squidge getting Snes up to speed, just by releasing a new version every other day with a couple...
Good read, nice one.
I liked the article about Super apt-fast as I hadn't heard about it before but it will come in really useful for managing my server setup.
I also like what was said about the older generation not needing special computers. I've been volunteering at AgeUK for just shy of...
I think it looks great. It's also nice to see it evolving from a Mario remake into something completely new and original too.
Just a shame that I'm skint at the moment :(
I hope you can get this game working ok. I used to own the original machine but never got to actually play it, so it will be one of the games I'll play first when/if I get my Pandora. I remember bringing it back from Manchester in the back of mums car; That thing was huge :D
This goes back to both devs having their own companies. The OpenPandora companies weren't supposed to make any major/direct profit; they were setup to get the units into the devs personal companies for selling from there. Craig used to send them to ED without profit too.
Hi Prometheus. I tried messaging you on both forums and emailing from your web site but had no joy.
Are you quitting the GP32X forum as well as this one? It would be a shame if you are as your one of the best mods and decent mods are very hard to find. I hope you still hang out on the other...
There's a reason people always think the worst of you Craig and you might want to take the time to figure out what that is before you loose all your customers.
That's the conclusion I came to because you've posted on more than one occasion about getting a wage. ED doesn't.Therefore I assumed that the only reason you would keep filling orders without having units to send out is because you need to keep bringing money in. Makes sense doesn't it?
Yes I...
Craig has said on a couple of occasions that they were used to hold up the Pandora project at one point. Not too sure if they are or being used to pay off pre-orders though?
I love the fact that most of the things people on this forum are saying about the Ouya are the same things that people said about the Pandora.
Personally I think the Ouya will succeed for the same reason that the Pandora has lasted so long; the community that has grown around it in a very...
 New quote.
EDIT:
I believe this is because Craig pays himself a wage. OpenPandora is now his main company so he needs money coming in constantly. ED still has a regular job to pay his wage and his other company to pay the bills etc.. This is the only viable reason I can think of anyway??
I was just about to mention this. Craig set up a separate group for himself on the forum which had all the admin/mod powers but no tag to let people know about it.
ED is in the Administrators group and all the mods are in the Moderators group.
