    Release Gemrb

thx for the update JurnD! The thing about some text beeing unreadable kept me from trying GemRB until now. I'll try BG and will report bugs that I may find. Could you please add some description on http://repo.openpand...gemrb-jurnd.001 ? Many people will not know what your pnd does. Also...

    Porting Stellarium

Oh snap! I just can't get this done. I therefor pledge 50€ to someone who builds a working pnd version of Stellarium and loads it up to the repo. I know it is not that much but I see it as a token of appreciation for the job. I'm going on my honeymoon soon, we'll stay on a raft, no...

    EXT connectors

Very nice instructions you wrote there. Very detailed and nice layout (latex?)! I didn't read it through 100% concentrated but two minor things as feedback: On page 8 you have a foto of the plugs. "What the diagram shows" on the right is actually upside down when compared to both drawings up...

    My first contribution

Is that file actually there? Is it missing? If it's there, try putting the folder names in lower cases as well. damn, it's not a resource file, it must be inside the .pnd? My version of Homeworld runs nicely (ext3, installed on windows7 first) and quitting also works. Only thing is that...

    Release Fennec 4.0B3

To be honest: Fennec 4.0b3 totally sucks: scrolling is much slower then fennec3, downloading files doesn't work and lots of add-ons aren't working/ aren't certified for fennec4. Also, it crashes a lot. Could you please reupload your Fennec3 version ED (or anyone else)? I can't find it on any...

    USB not working?

The solution with putting your pandora into mass storage mode may be cicumstantial. Instead, check "start usb network on bootup" in settings->startup->enable/disbale services on start. The module g_cdc may be vital here. Check if it is loaded with "lsmod". Imo that option should be checked as...

    Porting Stellarium

thx, sebt3 build these files that I may compile directly from the Pandora. I wasn't successful yet and I'm a bit disencouraged. There is just a bunch of things happening that I don't fully understand. ;( I'll try again, after a break...

    Porting Stellarium

Alright, I have an ext3 SD card and got some basic resources from as well as http://forum.gp2x.de/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=11865 Also, I extracted the source code of Stellarium to my card. The next step is to add your qt files. But where do I put them (and with what tar parameters)? What about...

    Porting Stellarium

Great! I'm copying my NANDS OS to SD card first, I want to stay safe and do all experiments from there. My SD card is ext3 formatted, hopfully the boot.txt setenv bootargs debug root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw rootdelay=2 console=ttyS0,115200n8 vram=6272K omapfb.vram=0:3000K ext3load mmc 0:2...

    Porting Stellarium

Thx for the info sebt3. Instead of asking you or some other building veteran to do the job, I would like to try it instead. Could you be of assistence if I run into problems, pls? I would start by reading this interestion noob manual and see how far I get. :)

    Release Dosbox

I think you are not handling the .pnd files correctly. You have to put them in a special folder on your SD cards, then they get detected from the system automatically. You will get entries in your xcfe start menu or minimenu if everything is right. You DONT run pnd files by double clicking on...

    Release Dosbox

You are right, this download doesn't work any longer. I can't tell you where to get an up-to-date version.. But maybe this is a good thing, as Pickle could compile a fresh version and upload it to repo.openpandora.org fixing the remaining major bug first, of course. :)

    EXT connectors

The main reason for it not looking good on my pics is that its a big 24" monitor but the signal is low res. That's most obivous if you have a still pucture like the desktop. If you play a game (quake2 for example) you have lots of movement and the low res is really ok. There is no fix for that...

    EXT connectors

alright, there you go: I did those 2 cables so far: one s-video only and one that has s-video and audio in+out. The connectors aren't at an optimal location, I'll change that some day. For the s-video plugs I just cut a regular mini-DIN cable with 4 pins in half. This is how it looks an...

    EXT connectors

With a 0.8 mm solder tip I managed to build a cable with audio-in audio-out and svideo out. The audio out might not really be necessary, because the regular speakers (and the front audio jack) are still working when you start the tv-out script. The image is squashed to NTSC resolution and...

    Release Dosbox

typing : in the dos command line doesn't really work well so it's best to use the gui front end and set the drive parameters there. get it from http://dl.openhandhe....cgi?0,0,0,0,72 for example. more details on dosbox can be found here. ;) EDIT: for playing Amberstar, I would advise you to...
