Caanoo / WIZ Find Serial Number Of Wiz?

It doesn't have one as such - there's a serial number, but that gets reset, so it's not 100% unique. You could read the contents of e2 and calculate one, but that also isn't going to be 100% unique, but the chance of finding two of the same is going to be pretty slim. If your thinking about...

Pretty much, and yes has already been stated. There are quotes available, but you'll have to find them yourself :)

    Incorporate In The Firmware

Slight, considering a lot of applications set the speed themselves (including the GP2X menu itself), and thus would override the setting. Isn't it much easier to just set the speed on an app by app basis?

    Happy New Year 2010

Wow, ten minutes ago I was singing karaoke songs. I never sing karaoke. I tihnk someone put something in my drink. Cheap night though. Took £100, spend £10, as people kept buying me drinks before I had finished. Had two celebrations. One to celebrate the new year, and another to celebrate a...

T-Mobile "pulse" - Google Android Handset (Huawei U8220) - Ama

I unlocked my Pulse from T-Mobile, put it on Orange (as the calls are cheaper), and then decided to go back to T-Mobile for there offer of 6-months internet access for a fixed fee. It's not perfect, but there definition of "Unlimited internet" is much better than what Orange quoted me - 1GB...

    Gpl Question

That was my understanding also, Exophase. When you are given access to the binaries, you must be able to download the appropriate source codes so you can make modifications, recompile, etc. However, if you don't have access to the binaries, they don't have to hand over the source code either...

Cherrypal As A Cheaper "desktop Openpandora" Replacement

Yey, another Linux-based web and media device, as if we don't have enough already. It seems like one company creates a basic design and 10 others copy it with small modifications. The second video was nice, however I wasn't really looking at the device ;)

T-Mobile "pulse" - Google Android Handset (Huawei U8220) - Ama

I'm not 100%, as I just compiled the tree rather than checking exactly what was what, but I can give you a link so you can check for yourself: android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/dalvik.git;a=tree

T-Mobile "pulse" - Google Android Handset (Huawei U8220) - Ama

I don't really understand what you mean here. Since the Pulse comes with Android 1.5, I downloaded the 1.6 source code, merged in the closed source parts of Huawei's hardware drivers, compiled the resulting blob, and uploaded it to the phone, so to me, it seems exactly like the OMAP where it...

T-Mobile "pulse" - Google Android Handset (Huawei U8220) - Ama

I've just picked up a Pulse for £137.01. I don't know why the .01, but hey, I don't care. It's not like I'm going to pay cash for it anyway. Why didn't I have it or a similar phone free on a £20/month contract? Probably because I don't want to spend £480 on a phone (24*£20, as unless you have...

    Found Two Batteries For Pandora?

Note that it says the battery is 20,000mAh (20Ah), but doesn't state voltage. That means the mAh figure is useless. Amps is useless on its own to calculate energy. So is voltage. You need Wattage, which is Volts*Amps. Amps will always increase as voltage decreases.

    Uk Tethering R?

The iPhone gives you free internet access for a year, I don't know if you still get the full year if you subscribe now, but that was still the case a few months ago. You can tether as long as you don't use the latest firmware which disables it. There are some "grey area" 'hacks' which allow it...

    C= 1541 Disk Drive Emulator

It's possible, but you would need to design an interface and then write appropriate software. I don't think anyone is going to do that.

    Pandora Wireless Chip

In 95% of cases, if you have forgotten the password, you can normally reach around the rear of the router and press the reset button to revert the password to the default - no need to crack it. Its upto you what you do with your Pandora, but discussion here about cracking secured networks will...

    Pandora Google Go On Pandora

Remember Rlyeh and his HPL? The language where you could target every supported system at once, and to compile it you just dumped it into a .c file and #included the "compiler" ? Yes, every command was a #define :) He spent a LONG time on that, which was written specially for his emulator...

I'm As Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take This Anymore!

To best web browser will always be Telnet. Nothing else can match it's shear speed it delivers web pages. Why waste time getting your PC to render a web page when you can render it much faster using your brain? Anything more is just being lazy.

    Pandora Google Go On Pandora

I spent the last month integrating Lua with my apps and then learning and writing Lua scripts. Now I've done that I'm not likely to learn yet another language for another task. My brain is on the verge of exploding already. I like Lua because it just takes your plain text file, compiles it to...

I'm As Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take This Anymore!

Ok.... I'm just going to close this now, along with those IE windows you asked everyone to open. It's getting draughty in here. Oh, and TLDR. I'm just going by the replies... Ok, ok, you can have it back :)
