Hey I have to thank this whole community of GP32 users. Without you, I would never have aquired the drive to search for a way to get 13 year olds (May i'll be 14) like me working in America. I'll be getting a work permit, and i'll start working soon enough for my GP32. Luckily, where I live, minimum wage is a sweet $6.75. That means I only have to work 27 hours to have enough money for a GP32 and a 128 MB SMC card. I just cant WAIT to get my GP32, i'm literally quaking at the thought, ANd once again, thanks for probably changing the course of my cheap future.

Awesome! I love hearing of younger folks who actually have the enthusiasm to earn their own money. I was the same way at 14; I coudn't wait to get my work permit. I soon saved enough for my first self-bought console; the NES and Legend of Zelda.

Keep up the good work, man B)

Heh... I'm on the wrong side of 30 (I'm not the only one around here either... :) ) and my GP32 is just a really fun toy... you're never too old, and you're never too young!

35 here... well, very soon at least. Glad to see other 'oldsters' still gaming! Rock on!

Do you think that the youngsters will appreciate the GP32 as much as us oldies??? I find it amazing having a C64, SNES, PCEngine etc etc in a handheld!!

If you;re old enough to remember gaming in the 80s or 90s you can appriciate a GP32.

Kudos to your desire to become a true consumer! In my first job the only thing that kept me going through the hardest of days was the mantra "PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2PS2", and once I had th money for a PS2 on my low minimum wage of 5.50 an hour I concentrated on money for games.

Let's not forget the Atari 2600 and Colecovision EMUs. GP32 = Old-School Gaming heaven. :)

24 here. I definitely believe older players get to enjoy the GP32 more because we play for nostalgia, to relieve those great gaming moments in the 80s and 90s. Younger players may be thinking of emulating the GBA and not having to buy cartridges.

25 here, waiting for MegaDrive (Genesis) with sound, faster SNES and.... MAAAAMEEEE.

Well, I am nostalgic, but I'd like to create something myself to enrich the world of videogames, perhaps the GP32 too. I don't want to be a dinosaur

PSP will note save our souls, if it has that poor RAM :D

You need a permit to work? Where do you come from? Sounds a bit crazy

Anyway, my first post on the board, even though I have been visiting for a while. Got my GP32 a few months ago here in the UK. I used to be a pretty mainstream gamer, I mean, I know whats good, but I would never import. Now there's nothing better than discovering a unknown classic. I'd rather play retro games over Gamecube any day (although Mario Kard DD is top).

Anyway, greetings guys, keep up the good work! :)

I remember when I was 13 I needed a work permit from school to allow me to work doing a paper round, so work permits aren't exactly wierd for the UK.
