I have not told anyone that they are not going to release it here, infact since I can't get them anymore I hope they do so I can restock... GP won't sell them to me anymore unless I place a $300,000 order!

That's nice of them, biting the one of the hands that chucked them a lifeline.
Although I think the GP has been good value, I believe over the time it has been available, it should be going down in price, not up. The parts must have got a lot cheaper over the last year odd, and also if virgin are ordering in bulk, it should in theory bring the unit price down. Tob be honest, I don't rate Gamepark. It's a nice bit of kit, but as a company they have had almost no communication with their customers, and have not delivered on many of their promises.
Also I don't think it's down to GP where they launch it anymore, ( I don't think they have the cash to launch it anywhere without outside help). If virgin had a big success on their hands, they would want to launch where they have other outlets- the UK being one of them. We would probably get more sense out of a virgin representative (after the launch) than Gamepark.
One good thing will be they are bound to localise (or create) games, just a shame I don't speak spanish!

The price of going mainstream. Sucks, glad I got mine three weeks ago!
Going mainstream should make the hardware cheaper as they'd be producing more

Anyone else noticed that the ad on the Virgin site has a black GP as well as a white one?

J(ohn)
oh. they've changed the ad, the previous one that was up when i posted only had a white one (and the ad looked crap in general :p)

I saw the black ones and almost shed a tear, i want a black one :( i keep telling myself its only a colour but it is not working.

Also if no more FLUs are being produced will we see a rise or a fall in the prices on ebay?

guys craig never said they were going to be more expensive, he's just saying that it wouldn't be anywhere near worth it to pay GamePark $300,000 to start up their cold factories again just so he can lose money selling them.

wait, can some one tell me the differance between my gp32 i bought 2 days ago and the new Europe one? hope i didnt just blow my damn money away....
shit

Don't worry its the same GP32 (FLU) as the korean version, they said they will only sell the FLU unit, and this is 2 weeks old they said on the 4th March they would release in May.

How much did you used to pay for a normal order of GP32s from GamePark?

Maybe those Koreans are getting greedy. Or they expect us to believe they're different, or they expect Craig to be able to sell a zillion of 'em.

Answer:
( C ) All of the above.

I hope Craig still has some left.
