OpenSnes9XGP 0.3 WIP

I too would love to see a Screen stretch *option*, even if it would look distorted. Other than that, it's brilliant. :)

I forgot the request I've had since day one. An option for automatic frameskip, then it won't matter as much if the emulator is slow or not, it will always keep the sound and gameplay at the right foot (at least for rpgs). An option to set the Mhz to 164 would also be useful.

I want to thank you for your work on this emulator, I am truly greatful.

I demand lasers that can and will shoot through 16 feet of solid steel make your time. You will work harder and faster.
How are you Gentlemen!!! All Your Base Are Belong To Us. You are on the way to destruction.
What you say !!
You have no chance to survive make you time.

actually an autoframeskip would do good, makingit analise the game at first and then putting the frameskip to run around the correct framerate *bit slow startup, but you can save the frameskip settings and turn it off*
clock settings remembering

I vote for screen stretching too !!!

You can use Mr. Spiv's utility 'LCDBlast' that can do that and many other effects with !!!!!!!!!!!!! NEAR ZERO CPU usage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just would like to say this is a *great* emu and to encourage you dudes - this emu ROCKS!

I would like to see Mario Kart work properly :)

I've noticed that most Snes emus ( including windows emus ) can't emulate Mario Kart properly

glitches like:
- going over powerups does not work
- collecting coins does not work
- crashing into the barrier sends the dude with the fishing rod to haul u out :)

Would be great if u can get one up on the Windoze emus by getting this to work !!!!

:D

Just thought of one..... the ability to take screenshots of games, so that people can then export them and use them for backgrounds on colour screen mobile phones etc.. Just an idea, since the colour screen phones around now have a similar resolution to the GP32. (e.g Sony Ericsson T610 etc..)

If its not workable, then thats ok. There are other things (like speed and sound) that will probably take precedence to this.

I would like having better graphism with brighter colors, deeper contrast etc... as good as Snes9XGP.
And full speed with sound (fx and bmg), of course, even with no perfect sound (mono would be nice with full speed !).
Having all roms selected automatically.
Anyway, your gui and options possibilities are among the bests ever do, congratulations !

First of all congratulations for an incredible emu. What a nice little package. Nes and Snes are my two favorite consoles so you are my personnal hero :D Here are my suggestions:

1- More speed, of course :)
2- Low quality, non-crackling sound
3- Is it possible to do a 1 mhz increment clock speed? I can go to 140mhz but no higher maybe I can go to 142mhz? in the great current state of the emu, a couple of mhzs could be all I need
4- Oh and remembering the last clock speed

With all the settings toned down, at 140mhz, Street Fighter 2 CE is so great!!!

I have never experienced this ever on any SNES emulator than can run Mario Kart, I have experienced glitches similar to this on a corrupt rom though.

i wish a gba emulator and a gta like game (and a worms game better than rally pop :D )
Worms for SNES exists....

I'm just hoping for default sound enabled. When I save games with the sound on, they come back with sound off, and to enable sound you have to reset the game.

DEFAULT SOUND ON! we can then turn it off without reseting.

Thanks for the great product.

mth411

you can already set default settings and you can set per-rom settings...

I know you are working on the obvious things like improved speed and better sound already so: I would really like the background color to be black again and I would be very happy if the emu would remember the clock settings.

Huge thanks to you guys, I really love and enjoy your work :)
