is it just my gp or does anyone else have this problem ? maybe my gp is broken or maybe its just a shit adaptor ? i need to use tape anytime i want to use the adaptor. If anyone has one that stays in by itself and a link to where i could get one that would be great thanks :D

Could you post a link/image of yours? So, when you put it in, and hold the gp32, the ac adapter falls out? Are you sure that you have pressed the plug in all the way until it won't go any further?

The plug doesn't fall out here, once it's in, it makes a distinct "click" sound, and you have to pull on it to get it to come out.

The plug I use is a right angled plug, 2.3mm diameter, with a yellow tip. The shaft measures about 10mm in length. It fits snugly, and does not detach.

Almost the same as mine - the only difference being mine is a straight instead of a right-angle. Got it as part of a 12-piece set called "X-Type Detachable Plugs". I think the adaptor's a bit of overkill at 1200ma, but it's incredibly light (switchmode) and doesn't even get warm.

Some plugs 'seem' to be the right size. So far the only one that I found that fits is the gameboy color adaptor so I stripped and put on a variable psu :)

In the UK, Maplins sell the exact right adaptor with the correct tip. I'd get more than the 300ma version though if overclocking whilst FLUing.
