Psx4gp2x Public Beta 2 Released.

zodttd Relax, get a cold beer, put your feet out the window and think about how much you have coded and how well it's working so far, you're doing great, every coder suffers some downtime when coding, all that is needed is one little bug in the wrong part of the code to drive you into insanity .

Take all the time you need ( you don't need me to tell you that or give you permission lol ), but do it, and do as others suggested, this is a big project that once working could raise sales of the GP2X quite drastically, so, I'm quite sure that some kind soul will send you a new one if prompted B) .

I have posted the translations of your last two posts on the Spanish site, also making a point telling everyone not to panic.

And now that I have said all this, I will suggest that you get some extra sleep.

Zoddt, make a special paypal acount for your new GP2X, we will get you one within a week, on that point you should probably rest first, if we buy you one now you will inevitably try to code something again ;)

get a replacement from where you bought it... they wont know that you have opened it as long as you dont tell them.

zodttd's job is amazing! i've been following this project for some times now and the dynarec seems like a great step! B)
any chances that we might get an early beta of the dynarec before zodttd takes his well-deserved rest?

Keep on coding, guys ;) my skills in programming are very limited but i'm hoping that one day i might be as good as the GP2X's developper teams!

People, don't forget that zodttd is seeing how his coding is affecting his real life and work, an ideal solution would be to let him get those sorted out first :) , as for donating, I have donated and will do it again if he decides that he wants to get another GP2X... For now though, I will suggest that everyone lets this thread rest until he comes up with a decision and a reply.

A new GP2X doesn't cost much, you only need a couple of small donations and the problems get sorted B) ... The GP2X being messed up is only one of the problems though, the other problem is that he is going mad about little bugs and optimizations and isn't seeing much progress with the dynarec at the moment, and that can be quite disheartening.

So zodttd whatever your final decision ends up being, I appreciate all the hard work that you have done so far, and if you finally decide to release the source code, the community will find a way to continue it :) ... So don't worry.

A distributor might let us make a fund and buy him one at cost (obviously no need to let us know that, just stop when enough is collected).

I fully second the emotions presented by X-Code, he has done plenty and is fully willing to release the source.

Three cheers for Zodttd!! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Quite a dedicated coder that contributes freely to the community.

Zodttd please disappear for a week or two (or longer!), forget about the coding and concentrate on the job. Good things come to those who wait!

Anyone know how Final Fantasy 7 runs nowadays? I remembered watching a video a couple of months ago when it was barely playable, lagged like hell. But now i got a hold of this movie, and there appears to be no lagg att all and it runs with 50-60 fps.

Maybe try Clicks for Devs again?

Clicks for Dev's stopped because google changed the way they handled their ads. Which was annoying, since it was a great idea...
