I Will Make A Website For You Guys

Knowing HTML is one thing, but knowing it well is what truly matters. No skill gets built overnight, no matter how simple it may seem.

My first ever website was a professional site for the law firm I work at.

EDIT: I know everyone is saying developers could make their own sites etc but what about musicians or graphic artists. Some of them might appreciate a little help setting up a web site. Don't dis the guy for offering something. Even though half of us could make our own site that still leaves half that couldn't.

you guys are so mean sometimes... you should never look a gift horse in the mouth.
maybe he just needed some appreciation you know , something to do and feel proud of surely you all do the same thing no?

I agree. A dude comes along, offers to make websites to people for free if they want them and are unable to do them themselves, and they get shat on for offering help!

Geez. What is wrong with you guys. Your gonna make me scared to say that I would be willing to help you with something. If ur gonna complain about some guy offering to make a website for anyone that might want one... WHAT WOULDN'T YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT? He's not insulting your intelligence or ability to make webpages- he's just tryin' to help out and get off to a good start with the community. There may be people that don't have the time to make a webpage or don't know how or just plain suck at making them. I don't think I would have the time or skill to make a very nice webpage. Even if your not complaining you still aren't being appreciative or receptive to him.

Don't worry Gamer4Life we aren't all grouchy <_<

Welcome to the GP32x community :D

Agreed, your offer is appreciated! With all the negativity and "I am l33t, you suck" mentality, these forums are getting perilously close to PSP-forum levels of shitness. I really hope the trend doesn't continue.

Thanx guys,
The only thing i wanted to do was helping people that can't make sites and

If I were you, I'd practice with simpler, cleaner designs before I'd offer my web design services to the public, even if for free.

Btw, that background music on the Mario site pissed the hell out of me. Go burn.

Knowing html isn't all that important these days I don't think. Frontpage is far better and quicker for basic sites then for complex stuff javascript or that fancy new xhtml stuff are the way to go rather then html.

WRONG!
The site becomes much more professional if you know html.
(i know that by personal experience)

But dreamweaver is pretty good, cus you can make the site quickly, then edit it in the html editor included.

Knowing HTML means you can get under the bonnet if need to make tweaks etc rather then relying on the program to do it for you.
