Gp2x Case Photos

As Mr Horse would say;

"No sir ... I don't like it!"

... it reminds me of the AeroCase I got for my PSP; it seems like the system will move around quite a bit inside, and the mesh will cause scratches on the screen.

I think I'll stick with my trusty old GBA case (which currently houses my GP32):

... it's got plenty of room for the system, cables, extra batteries and cards.

Ive got the case, that detaches from the sash strap thing, by velcro and another velcro piece (Got it in Toys-R-Us). It houses my GP32+2 memory cards just fine, so it should be all good for the gp2x.

Actually, I think the design will allow for little to no movement of the system at all (thanks to the form-fitting groove in the bottom), which is good.

This is the best case I've found: Pelican Wacky Pack. Sadly, they're kind of rare anymore--pretty much only on eBay.

I definitely want the official case though. Hopefully they're still available by the time I can actually afford a GP2X. :(

I don't see the big problem here. Just cut away the mesh. Scissors is your friend ;)

Yeah, was just thinkng the same thing.

I guess the main problem with it, is the lack of space for accessories.
I can fit my chatboard, card reader, extra SMCs, and batteries in the front pocket of the GBA case, with the GP32 unit itself in the main compartment, which is quite padded and snug.

For the GP2X, I'll need the extra room for the TV-out cable and such ...

i'm losing sleep over this whole case issue! i'll definitely start modding my gp2x case the moment it arrives, once i've expanded it for extra battery compartments and memory sticks and such, and added some flourescent lights and possibly some strobing LEDs (haha case mod) then if theres time i might find some batteries and give the console a go! wooo case!!
