no way

there no way the browser will be left behind.
Maybe its one of thoses Schrodinger's Cat things. It probably bricks your PSP, but people sit there and speculate on whether it still has an internet browser or not.

Several people claim the battery pull thing worked but it seems to me like it might just be leaving an icon and possibly a damaged browser in the system rather than actually saving it. That might be doing even more damage to their PSPs.

hhmm I noticed that that link in the downgrader.txt document takes you to the 1.50 JAP firmware... does this matter or is it the same as the 1.50 Euro Firmware?? will I still be able to play Region 2 Films???

tried it at work today with my mates white psp, an it worked!! we were both very worried at certain points but we did it. but even though i created the update folder and put the eboot1.5 file in it, the update was no where to be seen, it downgraded to 1.0, then thankfully i had death jr in my psp which has the 1.5 update on the umd so i just used that, crashed at 99% like i was told, but after switchin off then on it was 1.5. like quiest said, i think theres as much risk buggering your psp up by officially upgrading either off a umd or network update.

Menu langauge is changeable toe english. you dont have to worry about that.

I didnt have to change mine, it was English by default when i turned it on.

Off topic has anyone tried the NeoGeo CD emulator? I hope it's good after spending 2 fucking hours hunting down the neocd.bin file, only to then realise that the Neo Geo romset I had was for the cart system and not the one that I required

Haha razzy, same thing happened to me :D

I wanted to play MSlug just to realize after all the searching that I do not have the CD version of the rom :D

I'd suggest trying the PCE, SNES and MD emulators, they arent all super compatible but they work... but you understand now why I'm not so thrilled with it's homebrew personally.

Oh, all emus I tried work, you must be doing something wrong, you know, there are different versions for 1.0 and 1.5 fw?

And OSNES TYL is really great, I`m currently enjoying some of my all-time favorites :D

Yep, but you can simply use Sei's PSP Tool to convert vice-versa :)

Yeah, played through Star Ocean with it :)
